Overall, the hotel is good. The room was clean, and the atmosphere throughout the property was pleasant. It’s a solid choice for a short stay. While there are a few areas that could be improved, our overall experience was positive and we were satisfied with our stay.

Gorgeous hotel! We loved our stay at Rioca. Although the kitchen isn’t overly stocked with utensils (eg only 2 forks, 2 spoons, etc.), it had everything we needed. The very beautiful room, the hotel’s unique decor, laundry facilities and free teas and coffees were just some of our favourite things. The location is also great for tram access and is in close proximity to a few different grocery stores and rental bikes. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would strongly recommend the Rioca to anyone staying in Vienna, thank you for the amazing stay!

This hotel was like a hidden gem, you don’t realize it from the outside but the inside is like an oasis in Rio. You hear all the sounds of the Amazon and it is so calming, a great place to stay after a long period of traveling!

Great accommodations and better customer service

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. But what really made this hotel stand apart was its sterling customer service. The whole staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. In particular, I want to commend Istva. While the hotel was not in the city center, it was on a tram line that made everything accessible. I would recommend this hotel unflinchingly.

Room was very spacious for a single room. Lots of surprising amenities like a teakettle and microwave oven. My room even had a door/window that opened out onto a little rooftop deck. Didn’t sit out there because it was raining, but it was a real surprise feature. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. I don’t speak German, and Marilisa was particularly helpful answering several questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Vienna

Excellent location, very close to Traisengasse Bahnhof which has direct link to airport. Easy to get anywhere in the city from the hotel by s bahn, tram or u Bahn. Lots of supermarkets nearby. The hotel has a very nice ambiance. Reception/bar/terrace area is very comfortable and nice for a coffee or a drink. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you check in online before you arrive, it’s very quick and easy. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. It’s great to have a kitchenette in the room. The only minor issue is that the room and the hotel in general is quite warm, and the rooms don’t have air conditioning. So it can be a little stuffy at night.

The room itself was very large and clean, except for a few spots on the walls. The self check in wouldn’t work but the staff were helpful in checking us in. Laundry facilities were good, cost about €7 for a wash and dry. We did not get the breakfast as it cost like €20/per person which seemed high for a buffet. There was coffee and tea available in the lobby for all guests, a lounging area by the bar and a rooftop terrace which were all great amenities. Location was not amazing but there is the #2 train car right outside so you can go into the city easily.

Loved the room with the balcony overlooking the street. Great location for acquiring transportation right at your front door with the trams and traveling to the underground subway system. Grocery store called SPAR closeby. Staff was so helpful especially MARI who took the time to sit down with me and book my train tickets back to the airport and she even wrote down the stops for me so I wouldn’t get lost. I would highly recommend Rioca Posto 1 with its cool Brazilian vibe and amazing staff!!

Sauber, nett, großes Zimmer mit vollwertiger Küche, ruhig innen und außen trotz Straße und S-Bahn drum herum. Nett eingerichtet das Hotel, Frühstück sehr gut und ausreichend. Bad schon etwas abgenutzt, Betten zu weich, zu warm im Zimmer, lüften pflicht sonst ist der Geruch mit der Zeit im Zimmer nicht so toll, etwas muffig.

Das Hotel liegt ideal für einen City-Trip – stadtnah und hervorragend angebunden. Vom Flughafen kommt man bequem mit der S-Bahn direkt zum Hotel, und auch eine Straßenbahnstation befindet sich direkt vor der Tür. So erreicht man die Innenstadt in wenigen Minuten. Das Hotel selbst war sehr sauber und gepflegt, ideal für einen Kurzurlaub in Wien. Klare Empfehlung!
