First the good - this is an older style hotel. It has a certain charm but it’s pretty basic. The breakfast is varied & excellent & the location in the middle of the Night Market is excellent. The bed was comfortable. We had asked for a double but were given two singles pushed together with a big gap in between the mattresses. Not ideal. I imagine some of the rooms are large & airy. However we were put in the attic on the 5th floor so space was very limited & awkward due to the sloping roof. This was a bit disappointing as we were staying for 3 nights. The lift only goes as far as floor 4 so if you have mobility issue, floor 5 will not suit you. The water pressure in our room (503) was so low it was almost impossible to have a shower. There is no kettle so if you want tea or coffee in the evening you have to ask reception staff to make it for you. This seems quite common in Vienna. Overall we had a good stay - but my advice would be to avoid floor 5.
