A great stay - the staff were very friendly, check in very straightforward (was able to check in early) rooms of a good size - very clean and quiet, great breakfast buffet and location for us was ideal - 1 minute from the Underground station / 25-30 minutes stroll into the city centre.

An awful (sleepless) first night in a room with curtains that didn’t properly cover the window and inadequate blinds not fully able to close. This meant that the room was not private. Room move denied as no rooms were available. A wonderfully helpful staff member moved us to an upgraded room the next morning which was much better and the curtains covered the windows. Thus room had been refurbished so was much better than the first. A lovely stay thereafter but spoiled by a terrible first night, not compensated in any way (considering the cost paid for such a poor night’s sleep) apart from the room upgrade which we considered was a minimum.

Great location

This hotel has basic rooms with little amenities and no blockout blinds. The aircon was very poor so the room was hot at night. But the location was excellent 300 m from ubahn and very quiet back street near a great supermarked!! Easy to get to alt stadt and around!!

Bit of a walk into the centre of town and attractions be easily doable. Hotel was very clean, big rooms. The air conditioning absolutely sucks though. We stayed on the top floor and it was 23 degrees c and the room was super hot. Wouldn’t recommend in summer. Otherwise hotel was great

Its the staff that make this hotel, helpful in reception and the breakfast room, made to feel like returning guest rather than a ew guest. Love the art music themed areas, in our room, and the breakfast area, loved the lyrics etched on the mirrors. Please if possible pass on our thanks.

Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of storage space for our luggage. The bathroom was clean with a good shower. The room was quite hot, even with the aircon on and the noise from the road outside meant it wasn't practical to have the window open, so we didn't sleep brilliantly. The location was good with amenities nearby and good transport links, but it's quite a long walk to the historic centre of Vienna.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Hotel was near the bus and tram stations, which was very convenient and made it so easy to go to downtown. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we first arrived, the room wasn't clean, but we called them and they took care of it right away. We would definitely stay here again.

Arte hotel was a clean, affordable, and friendly place that met all our needs. The service was excellent and the rooms were comfortable. When I requested a quiet room they gave us a room that's secluded from the common area and the other rooms. I would highly recommend to friends and would return again when I'm in Vienna. I just had two minor disappointments, one of which is the lack of a kettle. It was freezing when I visited so missed having hot water when I needed. Also, I stayed in a smoke-free room but could smell cigarettes from the toilets sometimes. I assume it was the person next door and while it's not the hotel's fault, it was not pleasant. Otherwise, I have nothing but compliments for the hotel. It's great to reach by public transport and have a lot of food and grocery options in the shopping mall just next door.

Nice location; a bit of a walk to downtown

The room was much nicer than I was expecting, given the hallways are rather dated. The staff were friendly and helpful and, while the location is a bit of a walk down to the city center, it's actually a very nice location with it's own charm, cafes, restaurants, and shopping. I opted to take an Uber to and from the train station. Normally I'd walk but it's just way too far and public transportation required a mix of walking and different bus lines. Uber took 15 minutes and was like $20. I was there in December when all the Christmas markets were open. The hotel had a list of markets with their locations and how to get there. And two of the markets were actually very close to the hotel. Of the ones I went to, those were the two I enjoyed the most.

The hotel was clean and modern, and my room was spacious and comfortable. No complaints except I was disappointed not to hear music in the hotel itself - music just seemed to be their decorative theme, unless I missed something. I walked with a friend to the hotel about 8 PM from Westbanhof, and it was a bit dark along the way as most businesses were closed and there was an unlit park on the side street. A couple small clusters of young men were just standing around near the entrance to Lugar mini mall half a block from the hotel. No one approached us, but I felt a little uncomfortable about that. Inside the mall itself was fine, but overall the Westbanhof area 10 minutes down the road felt safer and livelier to me so I probably would have enjoyed it more for the same price.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the hotel. Room was very comfortable with air conditioning, excellent shower and bathroom facilities. House keeping did a great job making sure i always came back to a well kept room. House keeping are the unsung heroes of every well run establishment. Front of house staff were excellent, respectful, helpfull and courteous at all times and are a credit to the hotel. Superb coffee, nice bar and patio area. Excellent walking distance to Vienna for me. I absolutely adore Vienna so enjoyed walking everywhere. For those who prefer transportation the trams and underground station are just around the corner from the hoel to whisk you away to any part of the city. Overall just fabulous i have no complaints at all. Thank you to all the staff for making this visit to Vienna a wonderful experience and i will be back in the future. 🙂

My stay here was pleasant, it’s a block away from major traffic street which helps reduce the noise, I was really able to get a good nights rest and very easy to get to by public transportation, only spoke with front desk when checking in and checking out, very friendly Would stay here again.
