Elegant Ardennes Retreat

Arriving through a cast-iron gate and long driveway, this charming former estate near Vielsalm immediately impresses. With elegant touches, spacious interiors, and modern comforts, this gîte is ideal for families. A ground-floor bedroom is thoughtfully designed for seniors, making the house accessible for all ages.

Nestled in the heart of the Ardennes, this home is a perfect base to explore nature and culture. Hiking and mountain biking trails begin right at the doorstep, and scenic drives or bike rides bring you to nearby sights.

Unwind in the sauna, enjoy countryside views from the furnished terrace, or gather around the indoor fireplace for a cozy evening. Though part of a larger group home, you’ll enjoy full privacy, as the other section is never rented separately.

Note: The house is limited to 8 guests by municipal regulation. Extra guests (even daytime visitors), student groups, bachelor parties, or young groups are not permitted to ensure peace and quiet.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

Een prachtige en hele goede ervaring. Ontvangst was echt top, netjes uitleg gekregen over hoe alles werkt en waar alles te vinden. Ook onze 2 kinderen (jongens 5 en 7) werden hierin zeker niet vergeten. Er is een airhockey tafel, een grote tuin met speelhuisje, veel spelletjes en als klap op de vuurpijl mochten ze elke dag de 2 ezels voeren die er naast staan in het weiland. Voor hen was de vakantie daardoor bij de start al geslaagd. Daarnaast is het gehele huis ruim opgezet met mooie ruime kamers en heerlijke bedden. Buiten is een heerlijke overkapping waar wij elke dag heerlijk van ons zelf gemaakte ontbijt en avond eten hebben genoten. De ligging van het appartement is ideaal op 20 a 25 minuten rijden is er van alles te doen voor kinderen, daarnaast beginnen er op een kleine 10 minuutjes rijden al van allerlei wandelroutes maar wandel je ook zo vanaf het appartement al de bossen in. Kortom wij hebben echt genoten van onze vakantie en ons vakantiehuis. Een groot compliment ook voor onze gastheer die het huisje verhuurd. Zeer prettig in omgang en bij vragen of andere zaken staat hij meteen voor je klaar. Bedankt namens ons en onze kinderen 😀 PERFECT 😀😃🙂

Schade nur, dass es so viele Fliegen gibt - vielleicht Fliegengitter und Fliegentür installieren, wir konnten die schöne Aussicht genießen. Vom Haus aus können Sie mehrere Spaziergänge machen. Wir hatten die Unterkunft für 2 Nächte 3 Tage gebucht. Check-in Zeit fanden wir dort spät (17 Uhr), aber Vielsalm an diesem Tag genossen. Haus sah toll aus! Wirklich super sauber und ordentlich! Alles war da außer einer Spülmaschine. Im Nachhinein bedauerten wir, nicht mehr gebucht zu haben

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Hausmeistern empfangen und konnten einen Blick auf das größere, komplett renovierte zweite Ferienhaus im zweiten Stock werfen. Wir haben die 8-Personen gebucht und waren mit der Größe, der kompletten Einrichtung und der Lage zufrieden. Frisch und sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Schöne Gegend, auf dem flachen Land, Wald in der Nähe, ideal zum Wandern, Radfahren und Touren mit unserem Buggy. Umfangreiche Mappe mit touristischen Informationen. Die Esel verhielten sich vorbildlich und das Krähen der Nachbarhähne passt in diese Landschaft. Nachteil ist das schwache WLAN, das draußen stärker ist. Der Vermieter reagierte sofort auf einen Bericht und meldete sich 5 Minuten später. Restauranttipp (Do - So): Bauernhof Petit Reier.
