"The smart knob at the entrance to the property was hard to use. There were no instructions on how to use the "smart knob." Over the course of our stay, the handle on the other side of that same door, fell off. If there had been an emergency or a fire, getting out of there would have been distressing.The stairwell was dark, smelled of mildew and hadn't been swept or cleaned in a while. "I would have given it 5 star, the location was perfect, so close to the Sanctuary, the hotel is clean, food choices were good at the breakfast buffet, the only thing there was no staff at the front desk. It was 0600, and nobody at the front desk, what if we had an emergency, there were numbers to call from an instruction board but the phone was ringing in front of us. The person probably left the phone at the front desk. So no use calling it. Also upon checking in the lady at the front desk was mean and lazy. She seemed like doesn’t want to move at all from her chair, no smile to greet visitors, just mean look. We let it go, coz we were there to visit Mama Mary, and I don’t her to add to my sins. lol. But she shouldn’t be at the front desk if her attitude was like that."
