"to begin with I have to admit I liked the 501 against my better judgement at times but the location and views allows a lot to be forgiven. I can imagine the 501 in its glory days would have been spectacular. the architecture is still on place and quality never goes out of style. however the old girl does look a little tired and could benefit from a little renovation in places. the staff, mainly Italian or course and many locals, can be a little abrupt or disinterested when they are busy...

"This is THE best B&B i’ve ever stayed at. Alessandro and Cinzia really looked after me - going above and beyond to make me feel safe, welcome and at home.
