"We had a wonderful stay at Portica 10. The hosts are just lovely, kind and welcoming. The facilities are well kept, clean, organized and cozy. They had the place decorated for the holidays and it was beautiful. The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to in the town of Assisi."
"Not a good experience. I arrived at 1:00 pm. Ahead of normal check in and thus I did not expect that my room would be available. But the place was deserted/ Front door locked. Adjacent restaurant (which advertised lunch noon-2:00 pm on signs in nearby streets) deserted. I rang the doorbell;;;;no response. I called the phone...no answer. I contacted Hotels.com and their first call to the business....no answer. Only when a manager called did they answer and informed her that because check-in started at 2:30. no one would be on site....in spite of the information on hotels.com website (confirmed by hotels.com staff on my phone calls) that the office would be open from early morning to late evening. And though the listing on hotels.com mentions a buffet breakfast, there was no such thing. I was informed that I could walk to a nearby bar, identify myself as a guest, and would be provided with some food. I skipped this and bought my own breakfast at a grocery store.
The rooms was clean but austere. No amenities. You get what you pay for and I paid for an economy room...so no complaints there.
But there needs to be truth-in-advertising. If in the off-season there is no buffet breakfast, this should be deleted from the hotels.com listing. If the place is not open all day and a registered guest can't enter before 2:30 pm, this needs to be explicitly stated."
"Me encantó la ubicación, el servicio de la dueña ayudándonos a solucionar dudas y recomendaciones de restaurantes, si regreso a Asia, es donde me volvería a quedar."
