"This hotel is beautiful both inside and outside, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is to die for - what a beautiful and delicious spread. The beds were very comfortable (stayed in first floor room) and the bathroom quite nice. If I had to make any suggestion for improvement, it would be to have a small fan in the room in case it is hot out. With the door and window closed there's no air movement. Disappointing
"Overall a disappointing experience. The spa was very nice, but the restaurant dinner buffet had lukewarm food for a relatively expensive price in Hungary. The breakfast buffet was also lukewarm.
After breakfast and before checkout time we returned to our room to find our keycards didn't work anymore. Eventually they reactivated them so we could get back in our room to collect our stuff.
At checkout the staff were adamant I hadn't paid via Hotels.com even though I thought I had, and they swiftly prepared my invoice and gave me the payment terminal. While I was paying I was checking my Hotels.com emails and bank account, and only after the payment had gone through I found that I had indeed already paid via Hotels.com.
The staff were fortunately able to reverse the transaction, but offered no apology for the mistake.
We wouldn't stay here again."
