La Ghiaia is an apartment that was renovated in December 2024. Its modern amenities, central location on the edge of the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) in a quiet area, and private terrace make it an ideal place to stay in Verona. The Arena, the most important museums, the pedestrian zone, and the top restaurants are just a five-minute walk from the apartment. There are several supermarkets nearby, as well as a public paid car park. It’s easy to reach us by car; you can stop in front of the building to load and unload and find parking 50 metres further down the street. The bus stop is right behind us, in front of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, which overlooks the renowned Piazza Brà. The apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessible by lift. The spacious two-room apartment, decorated in subdued colours, has been furnished with high-quality furniture ideal for every need. It features a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and a dining table, a comfortable double sofa bed, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with a shower, and a double bedroom. An extra bed can be added to the living room upon request. The apartment also includes an iron and ironing board, a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, a kettle, a microwave, and free Wi-Fi. Area Information

La GHIAIA owes its name to the alley of the same name, where the flooding of the Adigetto— a canal of the Adige River built by the Romans and filled in after World War I, formed deposits of gravel and sand. At the end of the alley stands the Romanesque façade (1302) of the deconsecrated church of Santa Maria della Ghiaia, now part of an elegant palace.
