"The staff where absolutely amazing. The cabins are surprisingly quiet even being close to the airport.
My only negative was that once the office closed at 4pm there was no way of booking a cabin for that night. I rang at 5.30pm and was told no one was available to supply me with a key. Over my stay I sighted other travelers turning around after 4pm, I have to assume it was because there was no one available to book them in."
"The positives. It was close to the event we were in town for. And at least it had free parking. The staff were friendly.
The negatives. The area was an undesirable location. Which explains the Fort Knox style car park and security gate to get into the complex. The room it self was ok but the couch could do with a steam deep clean. It was not clean to sit on. The beds weren’t that comfy and could do with a comforter under the sheets. The pipes in the building are old and you can tell cos one apartment turns the tap on and everyone can hear it. Our toilet ran all the time I had to turn the tap off at night so we could sleep. Lucky they had blackout curtains cos the bright verandah lights stayed on all night. And all the door wheels need attention cos the doors fall of the tracks easily or are hard to side closed. Not the most ideal place to stay but we made do."
"The room was really small (although I was expecting that) but it was good for an overnight stay and really worth it for access to the lagoon pool which I'd been wanting to go to for ages since it opened. "
"Nice close location for late night arrival, but if you grab a taxi or Uber, worth the drive to head a little further and stay wherever you want to start from the next day. We slept well and all was OK, but facilities are a little tired and the shuttle had limited capacity and had to do multiple trips to collect everyone needing to get to the motel. No handy brekky places near motel so if you miss booking brekky by 11pm night before, there are no walkable options for brekky next morning. Was a comfy stay in all though. "
