Today, it is located in the heart of Vermilion, but also the heart of Northern Ohio's, Lake Erie Vacationland.

Set out on a Fishing Charter boat from the Vermilion river to Lake Erie to hook and bring home some delicious Lake Erie Perch and Walleye!

YOUR SPACE: As you go on your adventures, your wonderful home base includes all of the following: - Fully stocked kitchen so you have the option to stop at the local grocery store and fix a home-cooked meal for the family - Free coffee (including decaf and tea) and snacks to get you going on your mornings - Stylish living room featuring a 55-inch flat screen TV and Amazon firestick to binge your favorite shows -Large and inviting dining space to gather and eat as a family or group - A dedicated workspace with a printer for your business and work needs. - Beautiful master bedroom with closet space and it's own flat screen TV and firestick - Second bedroom with bunkbeds that can be fun for the kids but can also be a practical bedroom for adult guests. - 1 full bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, make-up remover wipes, and all necessary linens - Classic to the Victorian style, a large front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or to wind down in the evening after a long day. - A large, quiet backyard to enjoy the outdoors including a fire pit and chairs for the evening! - A shed that houses your free bikes is also accessible for those who want to ride around the quiet neighborhood or into town
THINGS TO NOTE: This vacation home is a duplex, and in the top unit is a quiet, long term tenant. The duplex is set up to where you will have completely private and segregated access to the front porch and entire first floor via the front door. The top tenant has access to the top unit only through a stairwell on the side of the house and does not have a key or password to the VRBO. The tenant will occasionally do laundry in the separate, outdoor access basement as well.
Your free parking is the whole driveway along the entire right side of the house. There is room for 4 cars, OR a car and a boat! This driveway is shared with the house next door but we own about 2/3rds of it so don't worry too much about snugging up your car right against the house. The quiet, long term tenant parks in front of the house all the way to the left.
We listed the amount this VRBO can sleep as 7, however, there is also a trundle bed underneath the bunk bed, as well as a pull-out single sleeper in the master bedroom that folds up like a chair. These would be comfortable for a small child but not practical for an adult, which is why we kept the sleep count at 7. However, if you are booking with many kids, the sleep count could be increased to 9 if the two sleeping in these beds were small children.

The front porch is very inviting and the space inside is very cozy. The main bedroom is also peaceful and the bed was comfy. The property is about a half mile to the downtown main street. We enjoyed our stroll down to the nearby attractions.

Came in to visit family in the area in February. Not the peak season! The porch is so cute. I would have loved to enjoy it. The hosts are very responsive and since the property wasn't being used, they allowed an early check-in. The house is exactly as pictured. Very cute and comfortable. Didn't cook a thing, but kitchen appeared to have everything necessary. Willl definitely rent again.Found a little gem of an Italian resturaunt - Salvatore's Not a kid place. Nice dining. My brother is a food snob. He was over the moon and we had to go twice! Love Suzy's for breakfast. Downhome cafe.

The property was very nice. Figuring out the heat was a little tricky but once we got it, it was fine. Slow drain in the bathtub, but other than that everything was great! Highly recommend!

Loved this property was perfect location for us and the layout was great for us with little kids! (Kids room at back of house so weren’t woken up by us watching tv etc in the front). Never even heard the renters upstairs! Driveway was great for our truck and jet ski, we loved this play will definitely stay here again!

Host Aaron & Rebecca were quick to respond to all communications with us. They were very accommodating. Coffee station was set up nicely and had everything we needed to start our day. They even provided a wonderful bakery treat upon our arrival. The neighborhood was nice and we felt very safe. We had 2 small dogs and ran into many neighbors in our daily dog walks. We visit this area yearly to visit family and will stay again if home is available.

Great location, with walking distance to all the downtown shops easy. That was the reason we rented it. AC units were great….allowed each sleeping room to set own temp. Biggest issue was the kitchen…very few dishes to serve full dinners. Only like 3 big plates and four bowls. Could have used more dishware. One bathroom also a challenge with 2 teenage daughters and a wife. That said…was a good place to stay.

This is a charming house with well-preserved historic features. The original hardwood floors are gleaming, and every room was neat and tidy. The furniture and decor is newer and fresh with a young vibe that honors the nautical history of Lake Erie. Each air conditioning unit worked well to regulate the bedrooms and common area to our preferred temperatures. We liked the ceramic coffee mugs and choice of using the drip or Keurig coffee makers. There was a nice welcome basket of snacks upon arrival, and many needed supplies were provided. The location was great for us to tour Vermillion or head out to Cedar Point for the day! Communication with the owners was quick, concise and pleasant. We highly recommend this lovely home (and hope to be back one day)!

The house was mispresented. It was filthy. The one tub/shower did not drain. It was slippery and full of water with a 5 min shower. It took an hr to drain. Owner was called and said it would be looked into. Bees were getting into the home from the side siding and were swarming around. The mattresses were terrible. It was not a good stay. I would not recommend staying here until repairs and new mattesses.

This is a beautiful home in the Harbourtown portion of Vermilion and makes for a very comfortable base while visiting Vermilion. Everything was clean and in order, all the explanations were clear so it was easy to plug into Wi-Fi and a comfortable setting. We had no disappointments, totally enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, clean unit. It is easy walking distance, 4-5 blocks, from downtown Vermilion, and just another block to the beach. It is in a quiet part of town so it was very relaxing - just what we were looking for. There are several nice restaurants nearby, including some that are good for kids.
