We had a wonderful one night stay in here in a family room. Lovely food and drinks. The included breakfast was superb. The customer service was second to none, better than we have received in 5 star hotels. We will be going back

Excellent!

Wonderful place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Great and friendly staff. So convenient to have such a good pub on sight. Perfect location for getting to places that side of the Island. Will definitely go again!

Perfect place for a short break.

Perfect stay in a beautiful spot and our room had a brilliant view of the sea and coast. Very dog friendly which is one of the reasons we booked again. Staff very friendly and helpful and a nice English breakfast. Will stay again next spring.

We were lucky and stayed on Saturday night and there was live music, which was entertaining. Then we had a great breakfast the next morning nothing to fault the place.

The Wight mouse Inn is in a perfect location for walking. The food was very good with generous portions. Rooms were very clean and adequately furnished. All in all I can’t fault it and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel

Beautiful hotel with lots of character and charm. The rooms were pleasantly modern with lots of space and light. Helpful and friendly staff and the food was lovely! We will definitely be coming back again.

A great place for a great stay

Everything about this Inn is great. Easy check-In and out, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable and although the the rooms are above a busy pub/resturant, they are not noisy. Excellent choices for breakfast and a large and varied menu for evening meals...all cooked to perfection, and large portions as well. Wonderful views across the fields and hills to the Needles from some rooms and the garden. Perfect location for the Island's attractions too. My friends and I had a really lovely stay here and recommend it highly.

A nice and quiet location. Traditional inn feeling. More options for breakast than I was expecting. The hot croissants and pan au chocolàt were great. The best part however was the friendly and welcoming staff. All were kind and full of smiles in every interaction with our little one. Dinner and drink options also great. Verry happy with the stay, and will certainly stay here again in the future when visiting the IOW.

Lovely place

Lovely place. Very comfy room with sofa which was very much appreciated. Good bathroom and bath. Ate an evening meal which we enjoyed then sat in the garden. Had breakfast. Good hot selection. Not such a great cold selection but have a feeling croissants etc came out after i had eaten so missed them

The Wight Mouse is situated on the south side of the Island. The rooms are well decorated and extremely comfortable. Soap, shower gel, tea and coffee are all provided in the room. Breakfast consists of a buffet style - yogurts, cereals, fruit and pastries as well as a freshly cooked made to order hot breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, tomatoes, avocado, toast etc. and is included in the room price. There is ample parking with three car parks, one at the front , one to the side of the building and one at the rear of the huge garden. They also have two electric charges ( one 11kw and one 7kw) which can be accessed via the Monta app but you will need your own leads. The range of food in the evening is vast - the usual menu with a specials board which changes daily. Best to try and book a table but if you re a resident they will always fit you in. All the staff at The Wight Mouse are extremely pleasant and helpful. A special mention must be made of Lou and Tony, who were extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The Wight Mouse is a little remote if you don't have a car but there are plenty of walking route and a regular bus ( the No 6) which stops at nearby Ventnor. They are also dog friendly.

This is a large and popular inn with super friendly and happy staff. The room was very clean but a bit dated (a bathroom overhaul would greatly improve). Parking out front was often full but we found a space in the large car park at the rear accessed by road behind garden. It would be helpful if spots were relieved for hotel guests out front. Food was fantastic. Nothing on the island is further than 30mins away and I prefer the less built up south edge of the island.

Very pleasant weekend stay
