"This was our second time staying at the Kon Tiki Inn in Venice, Florida, and once again it was perfect. The king bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was convenient, and the room was spotless. The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from the beach, great restaurants, and plenty of shops. A relaxing, easy, and enjoyable stay all around. I'd highly recommend the Kon Tiki Inn to anyone traveling to Venice, Florida."

"I normally do not do reviews. I am so amazed with our stay at the Carlisle. We were celebrating my birthday and the day of my birthday the front desk called me over and handed me a birthday card and a delicious piece of homemade blueberry pie with whipped cream. What other place does that? I did not want to leave after our stay was up. Our room was spotless, room service is outstanding. Breakfast was delicious. We ate at the Dutchman Restaurant which is right outside the Carlisle, same parking lot, a few night, had the buffet. We went to other restaurants all over Sarasots and food was not to par so we decided to remain at the Dutchman for the rest of our stay. Delicious, homemade foods. And their BAKERY! You will put on a few pounds! Lol. . I will return. I have told so many people and shared Carlisles website. I am a very picky person, pretty much ocd. Carlisle is perfect. Quiet hotel and only 5 miles to Siesta Key Beach. Planning on when I am returning."

"The pictures grossly misrepresent the facility. It is quite old, maintenance is so so, and the pool is poor. There is an outdoor entrance to your room from a long walkway, lile the Holliday Inns in the 50s. The same carpet that is outdoors in the walkway extends straight into your room. It is overpriced and is not consistent with the description on the website at all. If it hadn’t been for spring break, we would’ve stayed anywhere else. Taking advantage of spring breakers is something from the seventies which should be unacceptable now."

"We had a lovely time staying at the Ritz Sarasota. Everything was good. I wouldn’t say excellent, but very good. We have stayed at many Ritz Carlton hotels and felt the Sarasota Ritz was not up to the same level of service as the other hotels we have stayed at before. Overall, the hotel was clean and the beach club was great!"

Island Breeze Inn

10/10 Excellent

"It was a clean room pretty basic no complaints. Establish really nice. Parking is a little tight and I never got to experience Paul but the other residents are really cool and the young guy working front desk. He is awesome. Probably the best employee they got but that’s nothing bad against other employees. He was just really helpful and nice."
