We had a fabulous stay here. Right next to the water taxi which was great for grabbing a boat out to Murano. The reception staff were helpful and gave us directions when needed, they also loaned us an iron.
The building is stunning and it felt like a great place to sit and do any work needed. Breakfast had great options. There is plenty to do on site and we had a lovely breakfast out on the terrace one morning.
The room itself was somewhat basic, which was to be expected, but it felt a little too minimalist. The sensor in the bathroom turns off constantly, we couldn't always find the buttons for things and we had no way to contact reception with any questions other than walking down to ask. That said, the bed was super comfy, we had a gorgeous view, and if you are staying for more than one night you get used to all its quirks.
The area was nice to come back to after being amongst the chaos all day, as you walk back you start to feel calmer. We would totally recommend going to Bar Puppa which is very close and has some great deals (main course, drink and coffee for €15). Be prepared to wait for a table, but it is worth it.
Overall, absolutely brilliant.
