Beautiful Venetian expy

My family of four rented this beautiful home for two nights in June 2019. It truly gives you a taste for venetian living. Very charming property I would recommend to rent. Also a few details to note: 1) A/C only in the two bedrooms and not in the rest of the home 2) bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and bathroom is on the main level. We really enjoyed our stay!

This property is located in a wonderful residential area, away from the busy city center! Perfecto!

6 nights stay in the lovely, completely private apartment. Walking distance to local coffee shops and food market. Away from the fray of heavy tourism, that was delightful. Be advised, you will transport your luggage over brick streets and canals. Be mindful of that detail. The hosts are lovely, easy to reach and will escort you through the maze of Venice alleyways to your private courtyard. Two upstairs bedrooms, bathroom first floor, lounge, dining and kitchen make this a complete apartment. Enjoy Venice!

Fantastic Stay and Experience in Venice

We stayed at this property for over 3 weeks while visiting Venice. It's located in a more local part of town, and the people fully embraced us. There are bars, restaurants and shops just around the corner, and walking to main attractions (Rialto Bridge, San Marco Square) only takes about 10-15 minutes. The hosts, Fabio & Linda were super communicative, friendly and helpful. Their home is beautiful, well furnished and stocked with necessities. Would love to stay here again next time we're in Venice, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Lovely Garden and Stylish interior

This place is great. Everything you need, and nothing you dont. Fabio and Linda have a long history in this house, and the history shows. Things work, details have been thought through... the space feels considered. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone considering it. 5 stars!

Ein wunderbares Quartier

Wir haben in diesem gepflegten Haus und Garten eine herrliche und sehr erholsame Woche verbracht. Man lebt in einem Viertel, das nicht von Touristen überflutet ist, und dennoch errreicht man zentrale Plätze innerhalb weniger Minuten. Kleine Geschäfte, ein naher Supermarkt und gemütliche Restaurants mit sehr guter Küche machen die Versorgung einfach. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich, und aufgeschlossen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wiederkommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank Fabio und Linda!

Venise comme les vénitiens

Nous avons passé 15 jours à la ca’ermina. La maison an beaucoup de charme. Rien ne manque, elle est très bien équipée, ce qui est assez rare en Italie. Le jardin est un vrai luxe. Cela permet de s reposer dehors, à l’air, en profitant de ce beau jardin, et de ses plantations. Nous avons pu déguster les bonnes tomates et les herbes aromatiques ont agrémenté nos salades. Un grand merci à Fabio et Linda pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse 😊 Nous reviendrons.

The Best Place to Stay in Venice

AWESOME Location with Gantastic Garden close walk to everything including Boat Taxi Great layout very quiet but really accessible to all of Venice on foot or by water taxi / bus Owners daughter met us at pier to walk us in and then at check out The Garden is really a Fabulous add you could sit on the swing and drink Aperol Slritzs all day and just relax

Die Gastgeber haben uns von der Fähre abgeholt und sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie haben uns nützliche Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben und große Flexibilität bei An- und Abreise gezeigt. Wir kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder.

Short but sweet stay

Loved our short but sweet stay. It was excellent to stay in a neighborhood that was "off the beaten path" away from all the tourists. We went to the local grocery store and made our own breakfasts every day. Small drawback is the bathroom on the main floor, bedrooms upstairs.

Fantastic!

Beautiful property in quiet part of Venezia, yet within close walking and boating distance to everything. Beautiful, well appointed home, great spaces and decor, and an incredibly lovely large courtyard with tomatoes, basil and eggplant which you are encouraged to harvest. Fabio was gracious, helpful and responsive - wonderful host! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home.

Recommendable!

We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the own private yard. Would especially recommend it for families. Quiet, non-touristic area, however only a 15min distance walk to centre. Good connections with vaporetto, stop only 5 min walk. Nice small food shops only in 2min distance, offering everything needed.

Spacious and clean home with a beautiful patio and garden, friendly hosts

The hosts met us at the boat and walked us back to their lovely home. They had juice and cookies waiting and even wrote out some destinations on the map. Our two young adult children enjoyed the second bedroom as it was spacious. The best part was the huge private patio area, where we were able to eat their fresh herbs and vegetables. Although it was an older home, it was beautifully updated with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and air conditioned bedrooms. Great local neighborhood feel that was less touristy than the main areas, but still a close walk away.

Perfect place to sample all of Venice and relax when needed :)

The private garden, the local cafe's and store, close to the centre but away from it all. Very helpful family to take us to the apartment and look after our needs. Clean, spacious with washing machine and clothes dryer. We really relaxed! Which would be difficult in Venice if you weren't staying in the right place. We loved seeing the local families playing in the squares. A true delight! Thank you.

nous avons passé 2 semaines à Venise superbes d'autant plus que la météo était de la partie Ca 'Ermina est une maison très agréable avec tout le confort ; elle est bien située pour visiter les lieux culturels et elle a l'avantage de se trouver dans un quartier calme où on peut trouver les magasins nécessaires pour s'approvisionner ; elle possède en outre une cour agrémentée de plantations où il fait bon se reposer après les visites culturelles. Le propriétaire Fabio et sa famille sont très gentils et attentifs à vous aider. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Ein bequemes, gut ausgestattetes Heim in einer schönen Nachbarschaft

Eine wirklich noch ruhige Gegend Venedigs, aber ausgestattet mit allem, was man täglich braucht - Bäcker, Gemüseladen, Käse-, Weinladen, Bar und Fußballkneipe, Künstlerbedarf, Trattoria mit Garten. Der große Innenhof des Häuschens war wohl ehemals ein Handwerkerhof und ist ein wunderbarer Aufenthaltsort. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Ebenso die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber Linda und Fabio. Wir kommen nach diesem 8tägigen Aufenthalts gerne wieder. Unbedingt auch für 4Personenfamilien mit Kindern zu empfehlen, die sich hier sicher bewegen können. Vaporettohalt 1 Brücke entfernt, die Riva d Schiavoni und beide Biennalegelände weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Ein idealer Standort jenseits der Trampelpfade Venedigs.

Excellent base for stay in Venice

We loved the property especially the sheltered garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They met us from the water bus even though we were late and it was wet. We will definitely be back again.

Great Vacation Location

The home is centrally located. It took us 15 minutes to walk to St. Marks and less to the Rialto Bridge. The home had every amenity that we could wish for including a washer and dryer. The garden was lovely and my wife loved the fresh tomatoes. The home was just enough off the main tourist area so that it was quiet at night. The grocery store was a five minute walk. I would stay here again in a minute as it was a home not a cramped apartment.

Great apartment and courtyard

This apartment suited us very well. There was plenty of space, and it was equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the courtyard, and spent a lot of time out there after exploring Venice each day. We also liked that this apartment was situated away from the more crowded areas, but easy to get to, and not far from the vaporetto stop. We had a great visit to Venice. Linda recommended a couple restaurants that we really enjoyed.

Molto Bella!

Fabio and Linda were wonderful hosts! The house and garden courtyard were in a lovely quiet area near the ospedale stop in castello - far enough away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco and Rialto but close enough to see those sites, and then escape back. Would highly recommend - know we will return!
