"Great property to stay in Lido. Not as busy as Venice so very relaxing. Place was central to everything. Helpful staff. Only small hiccup was the stairs carrying our luggage up but we needed the workout! Highly recommend,if you can do stairs. Thx again for the stay."

"The room was perfect for what we needed. It’s quite rare to find a property with a double and two single beds. The breakfast was perfect to set us up for the day, and the hostess was really helpful with local information. I would recommend this place if wanting to visit Venice, we prefer escaping the bustle of the centre and escaping by water taxi to this quieter location for the night. The nearby restaurants and bars were great."

"We arrived very early but Leah allowed us to check in immediately and she opened the dining area in case we were hungry. She spent a long time on her phone arranging transportation for us for very early the next morning. The building is old, but the rooms were more than adequate and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor veranda was a perfect spot to enjoy wine and cheese from a nearby grocery store."

The gardens are absolutely beautiful and make the setting feel so peaceful and special. We were greeted by Enrico who was very welcoming. He shared some history of the home which is where he grew up. "The 15th century building was unique inside and beautiful. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The location was easy walking distance from the trains at Venezia San Lucia - maybe 10 minutes. And the breakfast was a true culinary experience with everything from eggs to meat plates to world class cheeses and breads."
