"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. I found this by chance when we needed to stop for a couple of nights. This was by far my favourite stop along the way. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for recharging. The cupboards were full of useful items (such as plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster, cups, pots and pans etc.). Shower was lovely. "Arrived at the end of the season when the region was very quiet, so some amenities closed. In full season there would have been lots to do including the floral park next door. Castle has an interesting history and ornate facade and is complete with Rapunzel tower and grand salon. Our room was up high with a pleasant view of the drive. Owners are developing and has lots of potential. Owner keen to please. Calm and relaxing environment."
