La propriétaire à su répondre à nos attentes. Le terrain clos à vraiment permis à notre chien de profiter des extérieurs en toute sécurité."

"A very popular hotel for sure with spacious rooms, great Wifi, and a lovely pool, jacuzzi, sun lounger area. The reception and staff were excellent and this hotel deserves its high review rating. Plenty of secure parking which is a must for me. There is a restaurant on site for continental breakfast and main meals but we did not use so not able to rate. The location means transport is required but it should be mentioned there are excellent cycle paths adjacent to the road. "

"Maison au calme avec beaucoup de commodités (supermarchés, plages, activités diverses etc....) à proximité en voiture ou à vélo. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos 2 filles en bas âge et l'accueil de Marjorie super ! "

"We booked weeks in advance and arrived after a four hour drive to be told that we couldn't use car park because we did not reserve parking. Hotels.com gave no options to reserve and the listing details say nothing about reservation. There was no on road parking available. The manager kept saying it is clearly marked and I showed him it wasn't. Eventually the young lady on reception worked something out to park at the side of the hotel. That night and before we left two parking spaces remained available in the parking. So frustrating and needless stress. The room was very basic and looked nothing like the photos. Breakfast buffet was very basic and poor value for money. No gluten free or lactose free options despite messaging twice in advance. If I didn't bring my own food I would have had nothing yet still paid for breakfast!!! The coastline is beautiful but the town was lacklustre. It was not even that cheap! Go elsewhere. Paid much less for much better, overpriced and underperforming hotel. We would have left were it not for the really friendly and helpful young lady on reception. "

"Nous avons passés des bonnes vacances qui ont commencé par l'accueil très chaleureux d'Arnaud et Caroline. Iks sont très presents et répondent à toutes les questions. Leur maison est très bien équipée même mieux qud ma maison principale au niveau de l'équipement de la cuisine, la maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût, tous les détails d'aménagement sont bien pensés pour passer un bon séjour. Une terrasse derrière de la maison avec le local des vélos 5 vélos) à disposition est un vrai plus ainsi que un jardin avec un barbecue. Nous avons fait des randonnées et des multiples balades à vélos. La plage est proche avec un lac sur le chemin et un musée de miniature de Vendée pour faire la connaissance avec cette belle région. Les marchés nocturnes et les marchés de la semaine, les brocantes,les activités nautiques, le karting ainsi que les parc comme le Grand défi est pas loin de la maison qui permettent aux enfants de s'amuser à fond. Le voisinage est tres sympathique qui peuvent vous donner des conseils des sorties et des visites. J'arrête de complelenter ce logement et ce lieu car il y aura un grand risque de ne plus avoir cette maison disponible pour l'année prochaine ( je plaisante ). En tout cas n'hésitez pad à réserver ce logement et bonnes vacances à vous tous."

"As said in the title, first time in the Vendéé.Saint-Gilles is a typical french seaside village, which harbours all the joys one could expect from that.Perfect weather, strong tides at sea, lots of fine tiny restaurants in the village.Then, the house, petit as they say but o so complete for a holiday stay. All the necessities are there, the house is beautifully decorated, with additional furniture for the terrace. Located just 50 metres from the boulevard, and in with the village within walking range, it is the perfect spot for a holiday on the French coast.That said, we should mention Marylene, the owner and a perfect host.We will be back!!Regards, René & Dinie"

"Good. Major drawback was unexpected cost of parking ( 10 euros per day ). Hotels.com should have forewarned us ( ie next to the « self parking « tick on advert. Also no fridge. But room just about big enough’. Bed comfortable."

"The hotel was unusual in its decor however it was clean and well kept. The room was adequate with great a cleaning service. The breakfasts were well organised and everything you needed. The proprietor was an amazing man. He was pleasant helpful and helped with my French pronunciations. He had amazing sense of humour I would definitely visit again Well done "
