A dream in nature – a house on a shallow hill in a small community where the neighbors live in harmony with nature. Howler monkeys, hummingbirds, garrobos and other animals live wild and free. Feel welcome in a quiet neighborhood in Guanacaste, only 4.5 km from Playa Junquillal or Playa Callejones. A perfect home for your vacations and to start great trips in the area.

Here you are in an area that still is almost originally Guanacaste. Pure flora and fauna around you, no big hotels, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country and you can still meet locals on horseback and cattle on the street like in the past...

One of the most beautiful beaches in the country can be reached in about 5 minutes by car. More great beaches can be found both north and south, surf hotspots and unforgettable sunsets. There are supermarkets and various restaurants in the area, next cities can be reached by car, which is recommended to have, within 20-30 minutes (e.g. Santa Cruz or Tamarino).

We had a great stay at this property. Very private, and a short drive to Playa Junquillal (which we loved). Beatrice was a wonderful host and responsive to any questions we had. Directions to the house were clear and accurate. Kitchen had everything we needed. Three AC units all functioned well. The outdoor shower is an amazing feature! Totally different from busy, heavily-touristed areas like Tamarindo. Recommended!

Our 2025 Costa Rican Vacation

Beautiful forest setting surrounds a Costa Rican architectural gem. Beautiful fusion of local hardwood winding stairs, floors and doors/trim with traditional concrete/stucco walls, concrete downstairs/patio and bathroom floors with concrete counters and kitchen island.Bedrooms with ac and openable windows; lots of glass.Patio great in mornings and evenings to enjoy nature.

Real Costa Rica Hideaway

You will experience the real Costa Rica tucked away not far from Paraiso and Playa Junquillal. Clean and a little like being in a tree house, you have a quiet relaxing home to stay in. Host is amazing and friendly! You will need a car as the beach is about 5 minutes away. Great place to stay if you are hoping to explore different beaches and areas in Gunacaste. 5-75 minutes away from various beaches and more touristy areas.Outdoor shower was amazing! Choose to stay here if you are looking for somewhere off the beaten path and away from the tourist hub of Tamarindo.
