I was rather under the impression I was booking a room in the castle itself, but we were housed in an annex a 2 or so minute drive away. The room was nice enough, but I feel the advertising was misleading.

Teleborg Slott is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location. The castle has an interesting history and the rooms are very comfortable. The service provided by the staff was excellent. We tried the 4 course tasting menu in the restaurant for dinner and the food was exceptional. They also had a great breakfast selection. I highly recommend staying here.

The castle is a beautiful building. It’s just not for long stays. I recommend anyone wanting to stay for 1-2 nights to try it. The breakfast is great (even though early. Stops at 9 on weekdays) and if you have dinner it’s delicious food. If your plan is to stay for longer than 3 nights I recommend looking somewhere else the room without bathrooms become uncomfortable and the ones that have a bathroom built in their showers are not comfortable.

The booking created the expectation in lack of any information, that we would stay in the castle. However at arrival we were pointed to another building, 300 mtr, square brick building with low quality room, broken toilet seating, thin walls, the stay was a disappointment

The property is a converted castle and estate. My room was in a converted bathhouse near the lake called Bygghus. My widows faced a public trail and a coffee house outdoor seating area. Unfortunately that means a lot of people could look into my room so in bright daylight I had all blinds drawn and the lights on. I was just staying one night and moving on the so the room was adequate. One other strange occurrence was the bathroom motion sensing light. To turn off you click the light switch but it kept coming on during the night even after I closed the door and the light was off. Somehow later it went on again. If you want to “stay in the castle feeling” be sure to select the appropriate castle rooms. I did have breakfast in the castle and the dining rooms have an exceptional ambiance. However the quality and selection for breakfast does not compare well to other hotels on my trip. Staff are friendly but service does not stand out.

Fantastiskt mysigt med fin omgivning. Vi bodde med våran hund i grindstugan och det var super mysigt rum med lite hårdare typ av säng. Fräscht rum och toalett.

Inte bra om man har hunden med sig.

Vi la till extra för att vi hade en hund med oss. När vi kom dit fick vi bo på annexet fungerade väl helt ok enkelt rum, golvvärme va trasig kände slitet. Va inte värt det extra pengarna vid hund på detta hotell finns mycket bättre i Växjö då. Som tur va hade vi tagit med egen sovkorg till hunden samt vattenskål om man kommer men hund kan man räkna med iallafall på ett annat hotell här i Växjö har det korg och vattenskål plus goodiebage för hunden! Här va noll plus att det va dyrare ha med hunden hit.

Mysiga Teleborgsslott

Så mysigt slottshotell! Det ligger relativt centralt intill vattnet o härlig bokskog. Mysiga promenadstråk intill och gillar du disc-golf så finns en 9-hålsbana precis intill slottet. Personalen var supertrevliga & vi fick så fin service. God mat och skön säng.
