Lovely gem in Vaxjo

We had a most amazing time at Elite Stadshotellet . The staff were all very kind and welcoming, the food was excellent and the hotel itself is tastefully decorated and well looked after. We'll definitely be back.

Well located and classy hotel in Vaxjo

We highly recommend this hotel. It is charming and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel - make reservations early, we could not get it but it looked great. This hotel is centrally located close to the train station and all walkable areas of Vaxjo. Wonder breakfast with incredible selection of foods. Beautiful breakfast room. Our room was spacious with a balcony, very clean and comfortable. The TV has a few English stations which were greatly appreciated for unwinding at night. Thank you for a great stay.

Nothing special

It’s so great a hotel got handicap rooms, but as a vip member I hoped to get upgraded and not a handicap room. My room was with windows to the back yard and there was a lot of noise in the morning. Breakfast was standard and there were coffee grounds in the coffee. It was nice that it was possible to sit outside.

Comfy and delicious

We really enjoyed our stay and the location cannot be beat. Our third floor room was a little warm, but the front desk provided a fan and it was perfect. The breakfast was awesome too, so we ate well before getting on the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Frukostbuffe'

Frukosten uppfyllde inte våra förväntningar. Inga äggkoppar bara en tom korg, rutten frukt i fruktskålen, de två korgarna avsedda för frallor va så gott som tomma både lördag och söndag. De löskosta ägget var hårt både lördag och söndag samt de hårdkokta var kokt så de var grönt runt gulan. Kändes inte som personalen hade go i sig, ingen fart. En lite matsal som borde flyta på bättre... Rummen bra för övrigt och trevlig personal i receptionen.

Frukost som öppnar 7:30!!!! Uruselt!!! Folk som köade från 7:20 som var sugna på morgonens måltid. Svaret i receptionen var att det finns gäster som vill äta 9:30. Ok, de har ändå ett val tänker jag att i såna fall att äta något tidigare. Arbetare som ville iväg och behövde stressa. Nä, tar ner betyget till lägsta då hotellfrukosten är endel av upplevelsen att bo på hotell. En annan liten grej att ta betalt för en kopp kaffe för gäster i receptionen. Gnidet i mina ögon och lite väl småländska vibbar. Tack men nej tack. Vi väljer nåt annat nästa gång.
