"Fantastic! We went on a honeymoon here. We really can’t wait to return. We’re a gay couple and we felt incredibly safe and welcome. Food and drinks were amazing. Sushi at Buddha bar was awesome. And the drinks, Melon Crush and Abaton Spritz were lush. We had a joint shared private pool which was the perfect option for us. "Very nice front desk people, also 24 hour front desk. Our room had a little private balcony which is nice (I think all do) pool was nice (open til 7 pm) . Parking on street was regular trying to find a spot but they have a private lot also but about 10-15 spots. About 5 min drive from airport and 5-10 min drive to the fortress/downtown. Nice quiet safe location. "

Right outside the resort, we found numerous shops and restaurants, creating a friendly atmosphere. We also enjoyed a well-organized trip to Heraklion and the Palace of Knossos, complete with earpieces to hear our knowledgeable guide.
