Lovely dog-friendly lakefront abode with firepit, swimming dock, and fast WiFi
7.8 out of 10, Good, 8 reviews
"Nice apartment with lovely views of Three Mile Pond. Lake access was decent though the paths down are steep. Convenient to shopping in South China and Augusta. The interior was clean and modern. My only complaint was the outdoor floodlight, which could not be switched off by any means we were able to learn about during our stay. When I drive this far from the major cities, I like to enjoy the darkness as much as the quiet. So if you want to see the Milky Way, choose some other Maine vacation...

Lakefront home with water-view deck, kayaks, gas grill, & washer/dryer - dogs ok
7.8 out of 10, Good, 10 reviews
"The house and surrounding were very nice. Exactly as described and had some nice touches left by the management company- extra soap, laundry pods, doggie poop bags. The only concerns were that the keypad on the door was temperamental and didn’t work our entire visit (thankfully there was a key in a lockbox so we could get inside when it was cold and raining) and there were several dishes put away dirty. Overall it was a great property that we hope to return to in warmer weather and enjoy the...

Dog-friendly lakefront home with dock, fireplace, firepit, lake views, & 1 kayak
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, 8 reviews
"Myself and 4 friends booked this home on the water for an annual super bowl ice fishing trip. The house was just as described, spacious and comfortable. The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. Great home for the price."

Cozy cabin on a peaceful pond. Enjoy the amenities of the Kennebec Valley Area.

"The cabin is quaint and very clean. Having use of their kayaks and canoe made for a fun afternoon. The loft was a bit tricky for my husband and I to go up and down. Actually, it was hilarious. Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. All in all, it’s a great little getaway spot. "

Sunset Chalet- Stylish Waterfront Gem
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 20 reviews
"This is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed. From the beautiful decor, exposed wood and cozy fireplace. It was the attention to detail and small little extras that made this an extra special visit. The serene music playing as you enter the home to the specialized note and picnic basket! They are very accommodating to any situation that may arise and communicate on a five star level. An amazing stay and will be visiting again!"

MoonLight Treehouse- Luxury Waterfront Escape
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 11 reviews
"We had two rentals for parents and grandparents to attend Colby graduation. The treehouses are just beautiful and the managers have thought of and provided for every need. We were close enough to the campus but in such a gorgeous lakeside spot; it was perfect. The manager is the most kind and responsive person. It would be lovely at any time but it was just ideal for this special family time. Thank you, Feras, for being so wonderful!!"

"I was offered Stella which is a beautiful little apartment due to a mistake I made when applying to stay in Roxie. I didn't realize Roxie was solar and I really needed electricity for this stay. Dog Friendly Cabin Right On The Water!!!
2.0 out of 10, 1 review
"The renter is not worth coming about the fact that her home is on a very steep hill. I told her I was a senior and had foot and ankle and knee surgeries and had a hard time walking. I saved up to rent a place all year. When I got there I had to call her to find out how to get to the lake. It is so steep I couldn't find an entrance to the lake, I finally found a foot wide muddy, slippery path which was 90 degrees straight up and down. I only took a few steps and realized I would break my neck if...

Screen Porch with see thru roof, BQ, 30' from sandy beach, canoe and 3 kayaks
7.6 out of 10, Good, 22 reviews
"The location of King’s Kastle on Salmon Lake is excellent. The lake is wide at that point and offers great views of the sunrise, particularly from the upstairs master bedroom suite. The lake has less development than others where we have stayed in Maine. We enjoyed seeing loons, eagles, and osprey which are abundant. We went in the latter part of August when the kids’ summer camps had closed, which reduced boat traffic. The cottage is roomy and has a long list of amenities. All appliances were...

The Hideout - Just Steps to the Beach!
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 5 reviews
"So, rarely are properties listed accurately. It’s something the renter must face once the car is loaded up and everything is planned. This property is the exception! When the listing says on the beach it means it. If I gingerly tossed a stone out the front door it would hit sand. Sand mind you, we are not talking about the rocky shorelines we have grown to love. The beach sprawls a good 100 yards and is well kept. Leading out a god ways waist high so the water is fair. The cabin is a new...

Cozy Lake House on Cobbosseeconte Lake
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 39 reviews
"The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views."
