Escape to My Valhalla Farm in Oakland Maine, in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes Region, and stay in a lovely 1840's historic home with 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms and fully stocked kitchen. Cool off in the pool, lounge on the spacious deck and watch the farm animals graze in the nearby pastures. Relax by the fire pit at night and enjoy the tranquility and peace of the farm.

Bring your kayak/canoe and explore Messalonskee Lake, which is located minutes from the farm. Plenty of trails to explore either off the property or enjoy the many trails in town, perfect for walking the dogs!

Downtown Waterville and Colby College are within 10-15 minutes. Explore the many restaurants and shops on Main Street. Day trip to the beaches and Arcadia National Forest is within 2 hours.

Great Farmhouse!

Six of us stayed to celebrate my son’s graduation from Thomas College. It was perfect! The property has a beautiful Balance of rustic farmhouse and modern conveniences. Our host was wonderful, the check in was easy, the house was immaculate, and the beds were comfy. I would stay here again!

The farmhouse was clean and charming. The kitchen was well-stocked. Kathleen was an excellent communicator. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable— including making a bonfire for smores! We loved getting to be with her sweet kitties and amazing donkeys, mule, and horse.

A great 1st exerience with Vrbo

The property we rented was as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a 10-minute drive from Colby College, where we attended our college reunion. The house was older but had modern appliances, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The home is on a farm with horses and a mule on the premises, which we enjoyed. The owner lives in an addition attached to the home. She was most engaging and attentive to our questions and needs. The only drawback for senior citizens like us is that the stairs going up to the 2nd-floor bedrooms are steep, making it somewhat difficult to carry our luggage upstairs.Overall, a very positive experience for us.
