Perched atop a coastal bluff with sunrise views over Puget Sound, this gorgeously updated, turn-of-the-century home brings ease and charm to your Vashon Island escape. It's a truly beautiful setting, offering landscaped gardens where your children can play and multiple levels of deck space overlooking the water.

This three-story, bluff-top home sits on the east side of the island, less than a mile from the main town of Vashon. It's a wonderfully convenient location, providing easy access to great restaurants, cute shops, a market, and all sorts of small-town conveniences. The Vashon Center for the Arts (two miles), KVI Beach (three miles), the ferry dock (five miles), and the Point Robinson Lighthouse (seven miles) are all within a short, scenic drive.

Begin each morning outdoors, sipping your coffee as the sun comes up behind the mountains. You could easily spend the whole day here - playing lawn games, watching your kids climb the play structure, and barbecuing and dining on the spacious deck.

Built in 1900, the house has been thoughtfully updated with an open layout that floods the main floor with light. Prepare meals in an incredibly spacious kitchen with island bar seating, gather around the convertible pool/Ping-Pong table for nightly tournaments, or escape to the parlor to read with a view of the sound.

In the evenings, find one bedroom (with a smart TV) on the main floor and the rest of the bedrooms upstairs. The second floor features a primary bedroom with a smart TV, an ocean view balcony, and an attached home office with a beautiful view. There are also two guest rooms (one with a smart TV), a play area stocked with books and toys which doubles as a sleeping space, and an additional loft room up a small spiral staircase on the third floor.

THINGS TO KNOW
The owner of this home lives on the property in the suite above the garage. He cares for the chickens on a daily basis. Although they look fluffy and fun to pet, please do not.
During the appropriate season, there may be berries to enjoy from the cultivated garden and wild blackberries

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
