I have been at the Loewenhof every year once or twice, since 1993 (for 30 years). Have seen the upgrades, improvements in the physical installation, modernization of the rooms and services (pool, massage facilities) and dining. This time was my first time at the Loewenhof after the COVID19 issues. Personnel has changed, even the chef. The food quality has decreased. They used to have the best pizza in the area, but this time, it s different, lower quality. And the personnel is also new. Just checking in, I asked for 2 more days of staying, leaving the 3rd of December versus 1st of December. It was confirmed by the reception. But on the 1st of December, it appeared as not submitted and I was locked out. So, I had to extend the stay on the 1st, but after a while I got it at a completely different price (higher) and no excuses. And breakfast has old breads, hard breads versus our experience was to get fresh bread from the day: soft and even warm. After 30 years always using this hotel, I'm evaluating other options for my next trip in Spring'24. We were feeling like at home during 29 years, but this time it was different.

Great stay at Lowenhof
Great hotel. We stayed in apartment section across the road from main hotel, nice and spacious, but location wise main hotel is much better (lots of traffic on road between).

Best located hotel in Suedtirol
Excellent experience with the Hotel, always prompt to help. Even arriving one day before the reservation, we were able to get the best room. Personnel always helping, great installations, cleanliness and good food. The location of the Hotel allowed us to spent 10 days travelling short milleages to the Dolomites, or to the cities (Bozen, Meran), or to Austria (Salzburg, Lienz) and to return to the hotel at the evening. I strongly recommend this hotel for everybody who is willing to spend a good vacation travelling in Tirol or even farther. And the breakfast is simple, very typical from the area (Speck, Roggenbrote). For Lunch or Dinner, also excellent quality and selection. And on wines, broad selection of local wines.

Having booked 6 other hotels for our holiday in my name i just booked 1 double room only to find out I was to be charged 200 euros extra for 3 days as they had accounted for 1 person. Be aware that you need to fill in 2 persons staying to get an accurate overall payment of the accommodation. It was a bit of a shock when my bill was doubled from that on the internet site.

Excellent Hotel, makes you feel like at home.
It has been excellent. Best treatment, best support and help, friendly and very good breakfast and dinner. I strongly recommend the hotel to everybody who gas to stay in the Pustertal. Best ratio cost/benefit.

Das Zimmer war hervorragend, neu, modern und sauber. Der Rest des Hotels ist eher alt und etwas sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Restaurant war alt. Der Wellnessbereich war wirklich sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Solarium ist sicherlich nicht mehr erlaubt gesundheitlich. Ein kleiner Teil des Hotels wurde wirklich sehr schick saniert. Der Rest ist nur sehr oll, was auf den Bildern gekonnt nicht abgebildet wurde.

Aufenthalt in Brixen
Alles gut soweit, nur der Verkehr der Straße die direkt am Hotel vorbeiführt ist im Zimmer zu hören. Ich konnte nicht besonders gut schlafen dehalb. Frühstück ist sehr gut, auf Anraten gab es dann sogar Saftgläser in normaler Größe nicht die üblichen Fingerhüte.

War enttäuscht...
Schade eigentlich.... Ich war 2 Nächte im Hotel und hatte am ersten Abend Glück, dass das Restaurant noch offen hatte. Ab dem 2 Tag war alles geschlossen.... Ebenso ging ab dem 2 Tag kein Internet mehr , ich konnte leider nicht mehr meine Arbeit erledigen und auch das Handy funktionierte nicht...Was aber am ärgerlichsten war, war der Check Out am Morgen. Es wurde mir versprochen , dass jemand um 7 Uhr an der Rezeption war. Leider Fehlanzeige...Dies war sehr ärgerlich, da ich nach meinem Kundenbesuch extra nochmals ins Hotel musste um die Rechnung zu begleichen.. Die jungen Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr hilfsbereit.

Dejligt hotel
Dette hotel ligger i udkanten af Bressanone, så der er en lille gåtur på 15-20 minutter ind til centrum. Hotellet har det hele for et skønt ophold. God restaurant /pizzaria/bar, skøn morgenmad og en pool til at svale af i, når det bliver varmt. Det er en super hyggelig by at gå på opdagelse i. Kan kun varmt anbefales.

Wir verbrachten entspannende fünf Tage im Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen. Durch den laufenden Umbau gab es in den ersten Tagen einigen Lärm. Doch von Tag zu Tag wurde dieser weniger.

Das Hotel selber, seine Infrastruktur, Preis, alles O.k. Nicht aber das Personal, das uns völlig ignoriert hat. Beim Abendessen ewiges Warten auf einen Platz, nicht einmal nachfragen ,ob es passt, ein 2. Getränk zu bestellen eine Unmöglichkeit und den bestellten Kaffee beim Abräumen hab ich nie bekommen. Beim Bezahlen auch nie die Frage, ob's geschmeckt hat. Einzig die Frühstückskellnerin und der junge Mann beim Check out waren wirklich freundlich. Aber vielleicht haben wir einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt??

Zentral gelegenes Hotel zum Schifahren und Wandern
Der Löwenhof liegt nahe der Autobahnausfahrt (hört man aber nicht) und in gehweite (20 Minuten) der Altstadt von Brixen. Mehrere Schigebiete sind in 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Ein Shoppingcenter (MaxiModa) liegt direkt um die Ecke, sowie mehrere Supermärkte. Die Appartements liegen im Nebengebäude, sie sind sehr geräumig, die Küche hat alles Nötige und mehr. Das Frühstücksbuffet war mehr als ausreichend, exzellente Eiergerichte frisch nach Wunsch zubereitet. Das Restaurant ist empfehlenswert.

Super Hotel zum Entspannen
Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Löwenhof war sehr angenehm und entspannend. Besonders gut hat uns der Thermalbereich mit Sauna gefallen. Hier hat man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen können. Vom Frühstück waren wir auch echt begeistert. Es war super lecker und es gab eine große Auswahl (obwohl keine Hauptsaison war). Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.
