Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport
The room had a strange smell to it, all of the furniture was old and beat up, and there were tears and holes in the curtains. Also lots of random stains on the floor. The sheets were clean, but very rough. I bought a pre-packaged muffin from the lobby that was covered in mold when I opened it.

Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center
Very few breakfast options included. Only one waiter, so wait times were a bit long, but food was satisfactory. Waiter was very personable. We did not receive maid service after our first night. All of the staff, including valets were super polite.
