This was 2nd stay at this hotel. This is a 3 stars hotel in the centre of the city within walking distance from shops & restaurants with taxis literally outside. The hotel is clean with comfortable and large rooms. It has a feel of a big hotel with grand staircase (and a lift). Tea and coffee freely available in the lobby. Breakfast is modest and plentiful. To my taste, it lacked black coffee (although Turkish coffee was available on request) and wholemeal bread, but when the receptionist discovered my black coffee addiction, she promptly sent someone out and got some.(Thank you!)
The great thing about this hotel is the staff - from the moment you arrive you are made feel welcome. Everyone is always smiling and ready to help. The reception is similar to an information desk which is a bank which is a travel desk that doubles up as a wikipedia... no matter how bizarre the question, you get an answer with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. The management and staff are always visible and available. This is unlike Turkey where the managers tend to hide - not here!
If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of all amenities, you cannot go wrong. There is WiFi on all floors which is good enough for casual browsing but like everywhere else, it is not great for business use.
There is a restaurant/bar with live music most of the time. It was closed during my last visit due to Ramadan, but I visited it last time.
I will be going back
