"Think hotel room in the woods. It was exactly as I wanted. Small room, my own bathroom, little kitchenette- better than a hotel room as it had burners and not a microwave- and a super comfy bed. The hosts were communicative and respectful. I was able to utilize the fire pit and enjoy the quiet solitude. At just a little over an hour from home, it still felt like a perfect getaway. The perfect place to recharge and reset."

"We traveled with two parents and three kids in their early 20s. They loved the time capsule feel of the cabin, which is very 80s! The furniture was comfortable and the hot tub worked well. We had smores and played games. It was a peaceful environment, and we enjoyed exploring the area. I DO NOT recommend this property if you have young children, the railings inside and outside are spaced too far apart."

"The staff was really nice, the room was large, the bedding was good, but the price was out of line with what you got. No pool, no elevator, the breakfast was spartan, and the room was missing minor stuff, like a bathtub mat, and the stirrer sticks in the coffee packets. You would think these items would be caught by a hotel that costs this much..."

"We had a wonderful family weekend at this beautiful home! It was a great place to relax and enjoy time together while exploring the nearby attractions, including Shenandoah Caverns. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Everything was very clean, and the area was peaceful and quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place for a family getaway!"

"We've stayed at various rentals at Chalet High four times now. All the units are older. They're not fancy. But they've always been clean and everything's always worked fine. The kitchens are better stocked with cookware than many rentals as well, which we appreciate. I believe all, or at least most, of the rentals have dishwashers, wash machines, and driers in the units, which is a huge plus for us."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Mountain Magic Cabin in Cabins, West Virginia. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by the incredible scenery of West Virginia. It was the perfect place to get away, relax, and enjoy some time surrounded by nature.The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. And our dog Arlo absolutely loved it! He had the best time exploring, taking in all the new sights and smells, and getting to enjoy the outdoors with us. It was so nice being able to bring him along and watch him have just as much fun as we did.There’s something really special about waking up in a place this beautiful, slowing down, and just enjoying the surroundings together. This trip gave us some wonderful memories that we’ll definitely hold onto.We truly loved our time here and would absolutely stay again. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, Mountain Magic Cabin is definitely worth it. West Virginia really showed off for this trip, and Arlo would probably give it two paws up! "
