"We were able to use this lovely hotel as a base to explore Vai Beach and surrounding areas, then Ierapetra the next day.
One thing I really like about the hotel is that they let you check in as early as noon, and not leave until noon.

"The villa is stunning, well located in a quiet area with an unobstructed view of the sea. The layout for outside is great, with a lovely pool and a social area. Perfect for relaxing with the kids in the pool. Inside the villa, you will find everything you need, and it’s been designed tastefully and comfortably, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The villa is situated near many good beaches and restaurants.
The hosts are friendly, available and helpful, and we were given local information as well as a warm welcome. The villa is cleaned every day.
I’m almost hesitant to leave the review, as we’d love to keep the place to ourselves, but I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you.

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Estia, set just a short drive from Makry Gialos in a peaceful hillside location. The villa offered everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday and then some!The views were truly breathtaking—rolling hills, sea glimpses, and beautiful sunsets right from the terrace. The pool was a standout feature for us. It was perfect for both younger children and adults, with a great layout and plenty of space to swim or cool off. There were also plenty of shaded areas around the pool and outdoor seating, which was ideal for escaping the midday sun without having to head inside.Inside, the air-conditioning worked flawlessly throughout the villa—powerful, quiet, and consistent. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was a great sense of privacy and calm throughout. We especially enjoyed the dining spaces both indoors and out—perfect for big family meals or laid-back breakfasts with a view. There are many lovely places to see in a hire car and easily fell your time up on the island. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Villa Estia is peaceful, well-equipped, and an excellent choice for families or groups looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Crete. We’d absolutely stay again!"
