We had a wonderful stay at 66 St Paul’s in Malta. The hotel is beautiful, charming, and perfectly located for exploring Valletta.
What truly made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special!
We had a lovely room with great views and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good but a bit limited on cooked choices and pool area on roof was small.
This is unique small boutique hotel with 30 or so rooms right in the middle of old town Valetta walkable to everywhere. The building is 500 years old and nicely refurbished. We had the Penthouse suite which was pricey, but worth it. The views are amazing, the veranda large, and the bathroom is large with a big shower, a tub, double sinks, and plenty of room. The bed had luscious sheets. The front desk could not be more accommodating. The buffet breakfast was adequate in order to start the day. Overall was was impressed and would have been happy to reserve one of the regular rooms with a view, but enjoyed the splurge.
Extremely welcoming staff - nothing was too much trouble. Location was minutes from central bus station, near ferry stop and cathedral. Good restaurants and nightlife were nearby but not enough to disturb. Amazing sandwich shop two streets down.
Hotel had a peaceful ambience to it which was relaxing. Pool is more of a plunge than swimming pool but also relaxing.
Room was large and quiet with big shower, high-powered hairdryer and quality toiletries. Expresso machine in room.
Breakfast was superb with large cold buffet with new freshly baked goods every day and plenty of variety to suit most tastes.
Internet functions well. Room clean but discreetly at times that were convenient.
My partner would return to the hotel for the breakfast alone.
Stylish, beautifully appointed and converted old building, situated on one of the quieter streets away from the hubub of Valletta - and yet very central and convenient. Boutique hotel would be a good description.
Very clean with a helpful staff. Lovely breakfast - blend of traditional continental and Maltese - with fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham and pastries.
An excellent place. Will go again.
Staff was great, room was clean, and breakfast was good.

Location was great in center of Valletta and breakfast had everything we needed. Overall would recommend hotel again but wouldn’t stay in the same room type. We had an internal room and this to be honest was disappointing. The aircon didn’t work very well, we found the bed uncomfortable and there wasn’t any natural airflow or light - get it said internal and is a lower price point but I would either upgrade the room
Or stay somewhere else next time. We also had a problem with the door handle coming off. Like the hotel and location, not the room.
Brilliant location for walking to centre of Valletta or to ferries . It is also on a city circular town bus if tired at end of a day sightseeing. Very friendly staff who went out of their way eg to heat up some water for an evening Lemsip! Very good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall a well-positioned and smart boutique hotel in easy walking distance of a lot of Valletta’s attractions. Breakfast was great and the pool was often quiet and not crowded. Unfortunately the shower in our room was not properly sealed, causing a leak each time we used it. The room could have also benefited from additional storage space. Staff generally were friendly, polite and helpful.
Mary at the front desk was extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Kudos to the chef

Excellent location and hotel
Friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely room, fantastic building, lounge and outdoor seating area although we had a balcony and spent hours on that watching the activity in the harbour
Excellent stay. Second time staying at this hotel and it was as great as it was the first time. Staff that are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotless. Perfect location in Valletta and would highly recommend to anyone
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at this boutique hotel in Valletta. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible—friendly, professional, accommodating, and always available 24/7 to assist with anything we needed. Their genuine hospitality truly made our stay special.
The hotel was exceptionally clean (a definite 10+ for cleanliness), and the rooftop pool was a wonderful place to relax while enjoying the stunning views of the city.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. There was a large variety of delicious options to choose from, and the menu changed slightly each day, which kept things fresh and interesting.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We felt welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta. 🇲🇹✨
Thank you for making our vacation so memorable!

Absolutely charming hotel and staff. Great breakfast with lots of home made baking changing daily. Lovely surprise to get a welcome drink. We had the penthouse which was lovely - lots of space to relax and am amazing view. Oh and the location was perfect too. Highly recommended.
Nice staff. Continental breakfast was not to my liking but would be for most people. Had a varied choice though. I was in the grande suite and the noise levels were unbearable. Constant beeping if cars and could hear the bars. Did not sleep much. I only mentioned this to the manager on checking out as thought there was no point in complaining as they only had one grand suite which I’d pay for. Would not stay here again. Room was nice. Ants in the bathroom to be expected though due to the hot weather. Ok property but not worth the money I paid. If you want something peaceful away from the noise I’d stay somewhere else.
