"Great stay"

"This hotel is in a beautiful old villa in a lovely square in the heart of the old town. Great location and property. While some of the staff, including the restaurant servers, were very nice, the man who calls himself the manager was rude, dishonest, evasive and unaccommodating. The rooms are quite pricey, and while some are lovely, the so-called executive rooms are over-priced, dark and inconvenient with a slanted roof which makes the extra space unusable and cramped feeling. We moved to a standard room which was less expensive and at first they told us it was up to Expedia to adjust the price when it was really their call which they later refused, only telling us this when we had checked out. The toilet did not flush properly, there was a huge cockroach in the breakfast floor which a waitress stomped on with her shoe- looked like this was not her first time doing so, and the “ manager” scraped our car and did not say anything. The staff also gave us misinformation about needing restaurant reservations which wasted our time. It’s a shame such a nice property is not better managed and maintained."

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay! This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful and we so enjoyed Mia and Sonya in the restaurant and bar. Daniel at the desk was helpful and helped with luggage and general info about the area. Amazing value for the money. We will be back!"

"Location is excellent with easy access to bus and restaurants. Room is large and bright and comfortable. Breakfast was lacklustre. Menu is unchenged for our 4 days stay, ost disappointing is the dry quiche with undercooked potato masquerading as Spanish potato omlette, a popular breakfast item throughout Spain, Assortment of menu items is not generrous. For some reason, the faucets in the tub and wash basin are both loose."
