"Excellent location - Walking distance to town, funicular, bus, etc. Room was very clean with balcony and great views. Great breakfast. Staff was terrific and very helpful. Would highly recommend and stay again! "
"Perfect for our stop over. Area is amazing and welcome at the hotel was perfect. Woke up in the morning to a wonderful view of Lake Garda and the mountains behind."
"The family who run the hotel are brilliant, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble including helping with onward travel. I found the aircon “policy” a little odd, it’s only available for three months (July - Sept) and only for a set timing window each day.
The rooms are clean and functional.

"Great locatiom. Nice little hotel. Mini room, but acceptable. Breakfast for 10€, cheaper than surrounding places, but much smaller selection. Parking closeby free.
Friendly staff. "
"As a frequent traveler, the room that we had looked relatively modern. They offer a pretty decent variety for breakfast. They offer rubber flip flops too for the pool 🏊. Service was just ok. Didnt really feel welcomed by some of the staff there compared to other hotels that I've been to in Italy. Anyway, a-ok hotel but just to give you guys a head's up its located up on top of the mountain. Either you can walk up and down this mountain 50 minutes each or someone has to be a designated driver....
"We had an amazing five days at Villa Isabella after a busy time in Firenze and Pisa. The location is superb, literally on the lakefront. Check in was easy and the underground parking a bonus - though as others have said - the spaces are VERY tight for anything above a mini or fiat 500. We had an Executive Room and breakfast Views of the lake were amazing and decent shower and balcony. Internet not great in that area of the hotel but it was better to stay in the real world and look at...
"I enjoyed my stay here very much. The breakfast was delicious, my room was nice and had the best view, the staff were so kind, friendly and helpful! I had the most magical time and can’t wait to come back to this beautiful place. "

"Lovely villa with beautiful views. The breakfast was lovely, the service was great, the pool is lovely, really big with enough sunloungers, and the grounds are lovely and well-kept. Really great stay. I would love to go back next Summer."
"Let’s start with the staff of professionals. Everyone was kind and helpful, Hotel was lovely and peaceful. Every room has a few of the lake. Breakfast offered everything you can imagine, the bar and restaurant excellent choices. We will refer to friends! "
"My husband and I stayed 12 nights in August and it was perfect. Our room was in a classic style, spacious and looked directly out onto the beautiful lake with a large window and also had a separate balcony looking at the lake and garden. The bed was also comfortable and spacious. The bathroom looked modern and new and the shower was good and strong. The buffet breakfast every morning was lovely and had a good variety of options. The grounds of the hotel are amazing - beautiful garden feel with some art structures dotted around. We spent a lot of time at the pool (basically 10am to 6pm) as it was so beautiful and relaxing. The views of the lake and the mountains surrounding Lake Garda are truly spectacular. The service at the pool where you can get drinks and food was excellent. Antonio who works at the pool bar deserves a special mention - always a friendly face and very very efficient, and made me a delicious non-alcoholic juice cocktail off-menu - his own initiative and creation.
The walk into Malcesine is really beautiful once you get to the lakeside promenade. The first part is on the main road but that section is very short. In total the walk is probably 20/25 minutes to the centre of Malcesine. Checking in and out was also seamless. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely be back."
"For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
"The most disgusting, bug infested, dirty, run down “hotel” I’ve ever experienced. Every species of bugs you can think of almost. If you don’t like bugs, don’t come here. If you do like bugs, come here. I will dispute this, it was a nightmare from hell. I would not wish my worst enemy to come here. Bugs everywhere, wifi hardly works. Not close to the town, bad location. No taxis available either. Host is condescending and acts like bugs are acceptable. "
