Goed hotel, vriendelijk, verzorgd, ruim ontbijt, gelegen in het groen op een klein half uurtje van het centrum van het bruisende Utrecht. Bij terugkomst in de vooravond van de stad was één van onze kamers niet dicht en zat een loper nog in de kaarthouder, dit gaf ons geen veilig gevoel, en is op zijn zachtst uitgedrukt toch wel zeer slordig.

Enjoyable overnight stay in Utrecht

Star Lodge is a little way out of the centre of Utrecht but is conveniently located close to a bus line which takes you into the centre in a few minutes. The rooms are relatively basic but are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful, although they did forget to tell us about the honesty bar until we were about to leave. Breakfast is a continental buffet style with a wide range of products and made the overall package great value for money. Utrecht itself is well worth a visit with lots of interesting architecture and plentiful bars and restaurants along the canals and in the squares.

Weekendje Utrecht

Voor ons een prima locatie, lopend binnen 20 minuten bij bezienswaardigheden waar we interesse in hadden het Rietveld Schroder huis en ook aan de rand van het centrum. Direct bij het hotel wandelde je zo het bos in. Het hotel was basic maar niets mis mee met een uitgebreid ontbijt, goede start van de dag.

We hebben het prima naar de zin gehad. Door Corona moesten we natuurlijk ontbijten op de slaapkamer. Helemaal niet erg, maar zet er dan wel twee stoelen neer i.p.v. een. Nu moet je op het bed ontbijten.

We stayed 5 nights in the Star Lodge Hotel - it was a great experience with very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and super clean rooms with a smart eco-design and an excellent breakfast on offer. Situated in a large park in Utrecht city, the location was also attractive - and a hotel with a strong environmental and ecological vision is a strong point!! I would happily book again in the future, just change the pillows please! Everything else is perfect!

great stay

I have just spent three nights here during the very trying Covid19 shutdown and I can honestly say I had a great stay. The hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy and all the staff members I met were very friendly and helpful. I will be staying here when I next visit Utrecht.
