Amazing location right in the middle of everything yet completely quiet at night. No frill but comfortable size room with tall ceiling and huge windows with the view! Bring your own hair dryer though.

The room was a bit too basic but nice. During the night, however, the room has this buzzing sounds and also it is not sound proof from outside noise. The bathroom is clean. The location is very central. The restaurant is amazing. In general, the stay was okay.

Good value/location for the Netherlands

Considering the prices of hotels/hostels in Utrecht and its location, its a pretty good deal. The rooms are barebone but clean and spacious enough (as far as the private ones go). I would stay there again, but keep in mind its no frills!

This hostel is the perfect place for a weekend in Utrecht. We were 2 friend with 3 kids under 4 years old and the personnel was extremely kind to us. The structure is well equipped to host kids, they have high chairs for breakfast and also baby cots upon request. Cannot recommend enough.

Stayokay Utrecht is part hostel with bunk beds, and part hotel with very basic rooms. Staff is nice and helpful. It is very centrally located on a busy square. Very noisy during the night if your room faces the square. They give free earplugs at the reception.

Enjoyable stay, uneven room temperature

This was a good value overnight stay for central Utrecht, and great to have the private bathroom facilities. The room only has floor radiator that you can control, but I found it would only heat the side of the room nearest to it and not the rest of the room towards the bathroom. It wasn't a terrible issue, but a little irritating to be so cold everytime you walked to and from the bathroom. Aside from that, there was a great view to the square from my room (#105) and a nice lounge area in the common space outside the room to work from or relax.

Great location but gets really loud on the weekends in the plaza it faces - tourists/students partying in the streets till 4am so make sure you take a pair of the free earplugs they hand out. Close to the canals the tower and a 10 minute walk to the station - everything you need. Front desk staff really nice and welcoming. The connecting 5th restaurant is a decent (if overpriced) spot.

Great location ! We had a room overlooking the main square which was great for people watching. Only an 8 minute walk to the train station. Loved that they had laundry facilities on site. Room was good but shower had no curtain so the water kind of went every where. Great stay and would stay again if ever in Utrecht!
