"We wanted to stay near Usa Shrine and Usa Station, so it was good location wise (5-minute drive to shrine, 2-minute drive to station) But from the price, we expected a nicer place. The room and onsen were quite outdated, but the staff was very kind and the food was good."

"Such a wonderful stay, would love to come back in fall."

"A great little hidden gem in this area - we stayed here as a stopover to our next location. Room was clean and super cozy. Staff was very nice and helpful with us settling in. Location is very quaint and I loved all the statues decorating the place. The bath was super nice! Would recommend staying here and getting the dinner & breakfast experience - the food smelt so good! "Hotel only has 8 room and everything was very organized "

"Room was huge as with Ryokan style accommodation and generally clean, What great is the reservation system for onsen so you can have a private slot for yourself/family instead of the usually gender sharing arrangement. "This place was perfect for the holiday escape also family trip! The kaiseki was awesome and they provide pick up and ride service. And location is PERFECT 😘"

"Nice and helpful staff, near lake and shopping, quiet "

"Situated in a scenic location with an unbelievable view over the surrounding mountains including mt Yufu. Very steep road up and easy to miss off the main road. Parking lot is good and was never crowded. Room was very spacious with 3 private onsens, though you’d only be using the outside ones purely for the surrounding views and sounds of nature! The daily Kaiseki meals were excellent with abundance of local delicacies including Bungo Wagyu beef! overall the resort felt a little dated and would...

"ホスピタリティは申し分無し。 トイレは新しくて清潔だけどシャワーがついていてほしい。"

"It fits with the acomodation fee. Basically, there is no staff. Showers and toilets are shared with other guests. Enjoy local spa around the guest house. Do not expect anything. You will be satisfied if you think that is for just sleeping."
