Beach/Coastal feel from the moment you arrive.
Smell of the sea/salt in the air when you go out the backyard near the river that is consistently flushed by the tides of the nearby Ocean.
Relax watching the bird life such as seagulls and white Cockatoos fly up and down the river enjoying their evening flight.
Catching fish from the backyard is possible ,
if you burley with a few loafs of bread to make the fish excited to eat.

WEATHER
Warm climate to go to the beach and have that summer swim. Enjoy that summer breeze as it comes gently up-the-river to cool you off.
Winters are less dramatic than most inland locations due to the ocean water and temperate conditions.

HISTORY
The Coffs Harbour Jetty is an historically important timber wharf where Coastal Shipping once moved the timber from the hinterland.
It is listed on the NSW State Heritage Registar because of its significance
"as the longest coastal timber jetty built”
by NSW Public Works Department.

This Place Keeps getting Better

This was our 3rd year at this Holiday House, Bream and mud crabs were on, we remembered our crab pots this year, can’t beat fresh seafood from the back yard, not to mention the new 6 burner BBQ, any chef who be happy to be cooking on it, still a bit of rain but with back completely covered from the weather it’s not a problem, we will definitely be booking again.Thanks Paula and Matt

Riverside Oasis

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and easy to communicate with.Great tranquil spot on the river where we could sit outside and relax or eat and fish at the same time. A nice quiet street and only a short trip into town.I highly recommend staying here.

If I had to give a rating out of 10 I would have to say 12! Beautiful location quiet and relaxing. Spotlessly clean with everything you might need for your holiday. The hosts are also very approachable. I would be happy to recommend this property. We will certainly be back!

Fantastic place right on the river. My husband and kids loved fishing from the shore.

Would definitely stay again, beautiful spot right on the river, caught plenty of fish. Owners were fantastic with their communication, place was very clean and well maintained.

Relaxing and peaceful quiet by the river

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the House on Kalanga. Great host, clean and tidy home that is well furbished and maintained. Highly recommend this as a great place to enjoy the mid north coast, in a quiet and friendly little coastal village. Definitely would stay again.

Clean, comfortable home on river

Communication was great and our stay was everything we needed. House is well furnished/decorated and comfortable. Location makes it easy to get around the area, whether heading to Urganga pier and town, Bellingen, Dorrigo Waterfall Way etc. Would stay here again.
