"We never got access to the house!! We were ghosted by the owner. We were left scrambling to make alternative arrangements and by this time all options were a lot more expensive. Don’t book with them!!!!!!! Also, Expedia is making it hard to get a refund. "

"My stay at Faroa de Carrasco was wonderful. The apartment is really comfortable and had everything I needed for my 6 night stay. The a parent has 2 spacious rooms and bathrooms, great heating system, and strong wifi, which was perfect as I was working remotely from the apartment. I stayed on the 9th floor and also had amazing views and lots of sunlight. The booking, check in and check out was easy and smooth. I couldn't recommend Faroa de Carrasco enough and would definitely stay here again. "

"Host is super responsive to communication. The vibe of the space is really cool. Most of the furniture is vintage so not super comfy and has signs of wear, which didn’t bother us. Some things to note before booking, the stairs are very steep, the hot water doesn’t last more than 5 minutes, and there is sometimes the smell of sewage in the room, these are things one might expect in a super old building. We enjoyed our stay and would return."
