incredible experience, the room is so beautiful. we were very grateful to our host and his family for their time and their wonderful support. meals were delicious and they catered so so well to our last minute request for vegetarian meals. 100% perfect all around, so recommended!!

One of a kind unique experience. Room was super spacious and have magnificent view of the lake. Host were super welcoming and friendly.

Well run hotel, accommodating and polite staff. Very good included buffet breakfast -could improve the coffee. Sunrise view over the Lake is always breathtaking. Overall a very good choice, probably the best in town. Quite good value. Restaurant served quality meals at a fair price.

Learning about the floating islands and the Quechua peoples way of life has been invaluable; we were fully immersed in their culture which is an experience you couldn’t find anywhere else. The lake is beautiful, the food made for us was amazing and the island itself is a phenomenon of hard and work and dedication by the family living here. Of course the facilities are basic but that’s because you are staying on an island made of reeds! Or ‘totara’ In the Quechua language.
