In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. Bedding was quite comfortable and peaceful. You will hear guests walking about the stairs and over your room with the older wooden build, but it was part of the charm in a way.
Dinner was very good and the morning breakfast spread is typical European flair and filled us up for the day.
Views of the mountainside were wonderful, TV selections vary in many different languages if you get stuck inside for a bit.
Small grocery store across the street and the Post Bus heading to Stans or Seelisberg picks up right in front of the hotel. Very convenient for hikers or if you want to take one of the few cable cars up the mountains."

An older style property but style very much in keeping with the local area. Clean and tidy throughout and bar/restaurant appears popular with locals.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.
The hotel restaurant is closed on a Wednesday evening however there are a number of local restaurants nearby and staff were happy to provide directions and recommendations.
Breakfast was traditional and plenty of options for even my fussy teenager.
