"Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). The only issue was immediately following the booking of our reservation, we received an email from the hotel stating that renovation was going on and the view from our room would be blocked due to the scaffolding. This was the case, but it was not a big deal. Breakfast was great, too."
