We were given a room suitable for a single person, with a small bed and only a single towel. During the night, all the electricity to the hotel went out. There was only a minimal breakfast, with no coffee or tea. The electricity had not reappeared by the time we checked out, and no repairman was evident.

To avoid surprises, when ordering from the web, have the user pick what room type s/he wants instead of having a default type. Now it defaults to a very small room with en external restroom which was quite a surprise for us.

Short stay before driving on
Friendly staff and easy check-in even when we arrived late. Clean but small room, we got what we paid for. The shared toilets and showers (with locked doors) were clean and fresh.

Great getaway for Uppsala
Very friendly staff. Hotel on the outskirts of Uppsala but easy transfer by local bus possible. Great breakfast buffet

This is not a 3.5 star hotel
This is not a 3.5 star hotel. It's more like a hostel with single rooms and shared bathroom. Staff ok, breakfast neither good, nor bad.

Handy to busses downtown and a comfortable place to stay. Pretty good on the cleanliness side, shared bathrooms were well maintained, though there was mold around the vents. Overall I'd recommend it as an affordable stay.

Nice place to relax
Have stayed at this hotel before. And it was overall a very nice stay. Stayed for 8 nights, apart from the first night’s stay, every thing else was just perfect. Room we stayed in first night was a bit untidy (bit of dust and fly/mosquitoes). But because it was Sunday and I just checked in and went out without checking room or anything by the tome I came back staff was gone (9pm on Sundays) so I went to reception next morning and room was changed and everything was great again. Breakfast was delicious. And with free tea/coffee throughout the day you can just sit in the restaurant all day long with newspaper or a book if you wish to and time would fly by. Subway right next to hotel on the right and a cafe on the left (in case you can’t be bothered to get up for breakfast between 6am-9am). The only thing for improvement I could suggest is couple of days as I was walking through corridor I noticed that the rooms with shared bathrooms had bathroom slippers as complimentary. We stayed in double bedroom with private bathroom, however we did not have any bathroom slippers or anything which can be a bit disappointing considering the fact we paid 1/3 more to have a private bathroom. But all in all I would recommend the hotel 100%, the hotel is ideal location closer to E4 motorway, staff is polite and friendly and English speaking. And once again breakfast was just delicious.

Good place to stay.
It was very clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful. The location is not that close to the city center BUT that is a good thing as Uppsala is a college town and they can get quite loud.

Although this hotel is further out from central Uppsala, it’s easy to get to/from by bus. The staff were always friendly and extremely helpful. The clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was always clean

Very Simple, but Great
The hotel is very simple, but VERY clean. Rooms are small, but I wasn't there to stay in my room. The breakfast buffet was great. Location is right by the highway to the airport. Not downtown. Sweden has zero tolerance regarding drinking and driving, so if you want to go downtown for dinner and drinks etc. a cab ride is the best alternative. The hotel was perfect for us, since we had a rental car to go places. Parking is free at the hotel, just let them know that you have a car, and you get a ticket to put in the front window

Good basic hotel
The hotel is basic: You get what you need and not much more. It's clean, but maybe a bit worn (not bad at all though). The local area is not interesting but convenient for the purpose of the trip. Staff is very friendly.

Convient for the motorway
I had only on minor issue with this stay, the table in the room backed onto the bed and there was no way that you could sit at the table on the supplied chair...rather you used the bed which killed my back....otherwise staff were great, breakfast was fine...it's next door to a subway 'restaurant'

Basic No Frills Hotel
The hotel was just a bare bones basic hotel...bed, table, and bathroom. No refrigerator, room safe, coffee maker, alarm clock, or phone. No 24 hour concierge either.The staff was friendly. The room was clean, But the bed was not made one day of my stay. The hotel did have a nice selection of buffet items for breakfast. The location is close to a few stores, but the surrounding area lacks charm. The hotel was ok, but probably would pick a hotel closer to center of Uppsala my next visit.

Stayed here before and will stay again. New visitors to the Hotel should note, Reception closes at 23.00 hours. There is a message on the front door what you should do if you are later than 23.00, but it is not very easy to understand.

Will not hesitate in coming back.
Stayed 3 nights in order to visit a relative in hospital. I found the bed comfortable and the shower very good. Breakfast was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our arrival was late in the evening, WE were lucky, one of the guest was in the lobby to open the door. Being from out of the Country the instructions to get in the room was email in the local langage. We Had no clue what to do.

Close to Uppsala
Billed as being in Uppsala this hotel is not within walking distance of the centre. It takes about 15/20 min drive to get to the centre. Easy access from Arlanda airport but marginally disappointing not ot be in the centre of Uppsala. Very welcoming and clean; exceptional value for money but mind your head on the shelf above the bed. Great breakfast and service generally. A bit like an American Motel in style and approach with an hotel quality. Don't go to the Subway next door ether eat in hotel or Uppsala

Hotel locked and no one was there.
when I arrived, the hotel was locked, I had a non-working phone, and no clue as to how I was going to get in. A Swedish man with a phone helped me contact someone, after quite a wait. I had never seen such an operation. When I finally got the lock code, and found my small room, it was an o.k. place. Very clean, but from my point of view, a nightmare at first.

Self serve hotel ....
This is pretty much a self serve hotel. There was no one to check in .... We got there at 5 pm on a Sunday and the reception desk closes at 3 pm! .... Go figure. They had however emailed us the check in procedure after we requested it upon noticing that they close at 3 pm and it worked just as they had described with no problem. The place is clean and acceptable if all you need is a place to sleep. We had a large family room reserved and it was smaller than most rooms with single bed elsewhere, even in Europe. More like staying in a matchbox. Breakfast was fairly decent, and the only time we had any contact with hotel personnel as even checkout was self serve. The positive is it was much cheaper than comparable hotels.
