I accidentally broke a glass, reported it at checkout, and was told face-to-face it was no problem. A $10 damage charge then appeared on my card anyway. "Clean room, appreciated the fact it was double brick with solid walls between rooms. We had a family room, and the metal bunk beds were a little noisy (squeaky) when the kids moved/rolled over. Our room was at the top of the stairs, so loud conversations from the entrance foyer carried up to our room (this continued until 1.30am). The room had a small fridge, a filled water jug and a kettle with tea/coffee facilities, as well as a bar heater to heat the room."
