Room was very clean and spacious, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was okay could have been more choices, didn’t use the laundry services. But you need to be fit as there are only stairs to walk up to your room. Apart from that it was very pleasant

This time we stayed and it wasn’t great. They know 3 of us stay in room and each day cleaner only put 2 towels. We had to approach front receptionist to request more towels. On 3rd day - cleaners forgot to come and clean our room. We had to approach receptionist to get it cleaned. They did clean it but still 2 towels so we looked at cleaner and said it’s 3 of us so she added one more towel. They did not check shampoo and shower gel bottles - they ran out and we let receptionist know. They did not restock it until we departed. Hotel room has strong smell through air vent from Asian restaurant in ground floor inside Novotel. They will need to build stronger air vent to avoid smell going up to rooms. It happens during evening time. This is not first time. It happened with earlier stay too. Lovely building and centrally located in Devonport town. Accessible to bus and shops.

Confusion over 2 separate bookings. Initially thought this was resolved, but went out and found key did not work because the bookings had not been linked. Another drive down to reception and back for what should have been already fixed.

Had an amazing stay here at Wilder. We really enjoyed being immersed in nature, while still having all the comforts of a hotel stay. The dome, the outdoor bath and the lodge were highlights and gave the experience some depth. The backdrop is breathtaking and it's located not too far from Cradle Mountain which is some of the prettiest landscape in the country. Host (Matt) was great. Everything is well thought out and you can tell lots of love has been put into this place. Highly recommend.
