"Decided to do the drive and spend the night in Hāna. We enjoyed the Black sand

and the peaceful atmosphere. Hāna shuts down about 6pm and there isn’t anything to do. Just be prepared for that. Bring breakfast food’s with you. Kitchen was fully equipped. Appreciate coffee was provided. "

just steps from the unit. The second day we saw a TORNADO over the water (technically a water spout) that lasted several minutes. Will certainly never forget that!! regarding the unit itself, the beds (including the two day beds) are very comfortable for everyone, the unit is extremely well furnished (I wish my bed and night stands...

"Unfortunately we only crossed paths with a departing employee as we arrived at 5:00. I would have rather checked in with them but it worked out. This unit is well-decorated, comfortable, and has a great view. The water crashing into the black sand and stone shore is awesome. Great proximity to it and view is awesome. Slept well. Just need to carefully plan your meal strategy in Hana. Area surrounding is terirfic, especially the state park. Would stay again."

"The house was pleasant enough for the family to have a place to lay our heads on our Road to Hana trek. We really just wanted a place in/near Hana that provided us a kitchen and a midway stopping place. We really enjoyed the Road to Hana and it was a highlight of our trip. What we didn't like about this stay, was the tenant downstairs seemed to be a chain smoker who light up every hour and the second hand smoke came straight up through our open windows.
