"This hotel came in way beyond my expectations!!! The reception and check in was flawless, parking underground awesome and the room was unbelievable!!! Separate toilet room, huge stand up shower and huge bathtub. The room was elegant and chic, with wood paneling. The room itself was massive for European standards and even American. Best buffet breakfast spread ever!!! Füssen is beautiful, stay here for proximity, parking, and a luxurious stay!"

"Good value for money. Well appointed room but on the first day there we had no hot water as a boiler was faulty. The car park was very difficult to find as we did not know the town and the hotels instructions could have been clearer. "

"We loved the pool. It was the perfect temperature and clean. We were very comfortable in our room. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was delicious and at night we enjoyed the juice and hot chocolate that was available for us. The staff was kind and friendly. They gave suggestions for restraunts that were just perfect for us. "

"Such a great stay! Had been in Munich and Berlin so this location was of course way different. Tremendous location, cute shops and restaurants. Staff so helpful. Clean, so clean, energy efficient. Parking tight but no real issues. Love this place"

"An excellent hotel with a great location and delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the cable car and with beautiful centre of Garmisch just around the corner. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the family of three. The room was very well equipped, including free beverage in the fridge (Arolser beer was a particularly good one), Nespresso machine as well as slippers and bathrobes. Selection of food for breakfast and buffet dinner was excellent and delicious - bravo to Chef! The only ideas for improvement are to update the pool area and to reduce the waiting time at the dinner in days of set menu. I would be happy to come back again!"

"Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein."
