For evening relaxation, the cigar lounge and bar provide an incredible atmosphere, complete with an outstanding selection of expertly crafted drinks. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the staff. Every single team member goes above and beyond to make you feel like a valued guest. That level of hospitality never wavers right up until the very last moment. As we were departing, the bellman and valet team were right there ensuring we had cold water and drinks for the road ahead. An incredible stay from start to finish. Kempinski Palace Engelberg sets a gold standard for luxury service."

"This property is excellent in every aspect. We were 3 adults and 2 kids and booked the largest room, which is called te backpacker. It came with 4 bunker beds. That's the only part I did not like because I wanted at least one queen or king bed, but that was ok. There were other options to book that came with that setting but the rooms were smaller. Our room had 2 bath 2 showers, 2 of everything lol. It had the best views of the Alps. The bus stopped right outside plus the train which we never used as we had a car. The common kitchen was extremely useful as we cooked our own meals and saved a lot. The town is super quiet and beautiful and very close to some local attractions. The staff were very nice and helpful. The check in and out process were also very smooth and easy. There's limited parking on site, so for the last night when the hotel got busy we had to part at the train and pay 8 franks for 24 hours. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back with my family again."

"We loved our stay in Engelberg. The apartment was spacious and clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable for a week. Particularly good that it was walkable to town, train, Mt. Titlis cable car, and a lovely walk around the reservoir. The living space and dining room/kitchen were great for our group of four. We really enjoyed the balcony, which was peaceful in the morning and had a great view of the mountains. Laundry was convenient. One thing I would suggest is that the hosts be very clear that you need to register for the Swiss Pass right away to get discounts on activities - it's something we didn't realize until very late in our stay and missed out on some deals. Overall, we recommend this apartment!"
