"This review comes from a different perspective as we live locally, and stayed here for two weeks during home renovations. As other reviewers have noted, this is a basement apartment - the stairs are tricky and the shower door is narrow. We had to deal with some weather related issues, but the host, Al, was very responsive and helpful.Great location - convenient to restaurants, shopping and transit options (parkways/LIRR/bus) but in a quiet neighborhood. Good choice for an extended stay with a more comfortable homey feel than a hotel and all the amenities you'd need. Especially appreciated the washer/dryer and full kitchen!"

The house and pool with melt your stress away, everything you could possibly want is in the local area as well…. I will be returning. The house is very comfortable, as are the couches and beds. "Comfortable place that had pretty much everything we needed. The downstairs definitely isn’t as nice as the upstairs but it’s comfortable and serves the purpose. Not sure how the little bedroom downstairs would have been cooled, but we didn’t use it. Nice beds and bedding. Nice bathrooms. Would have loved an umbrella for the taller table and chairs so we could enjoy the view when it was hot out. Overall a good experience with a beautiful view and the comforts of home. "
