"The place is well maintained and is like new. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The suites are just what you need, full fridge, nice kitchen. The Ice maker in the freezer works. The TV is a high quality 60inch. The pool and hot tub were great! Clean and well maintained. Good breakfast, and every Wednesday a free simple dinner! Great Chili and chicken wings with green salad, pasta salad, soup, snacks and Vanilla Ice cream. I highly recommend Homewood Suites Mellville and will be back!"

"I missed breakfast, I didn't need the AC and the bed was flimsy and cheap. I paid more money than I usually pay and I got a worse room with a cheap bed. I have spent a lot of money booking at this hotel since January but I don't think I'll be back for awhile if at all."

"Showed up after a 6 hour drive to a nice bright inviting lobby and the staff was super nice and accommodating. Check in was a breeze. Room was great, clean and had enough space for all of us (4 adults and a kiddo). "

"Just really slept in the hotel. I don’t like the bathroom personal products as the smell isn’t good for me. Thank goodness I packed my own personal products. The temperature was also warm in the room but my window did open which really helped out! Bed was comfy and the tv worked. "

"Overall disappointed with the level of customer service I received. At times, I was made to feel that I was being a bother. I was told that breakfast was included in my stay when booking only to be told that information was incorrect at the hotel. We were a party of 5 and were in town for a party. Didn’t see housekeeping until the last night we were there. "

"I asked for a room "refresh" twice (2 separate days) and never received it. Had to call the front desk a third time to get clean towels. There was also alot of dog poop all over the grass near the parking lot."

"First of all, I want to start up by saying, our host is very accommodating and if you have any problems, they are dealt with right away! She’s a wonderful host. She also will answer any questions right away if you message.With that being said, this RV is very cute and very clean and neat. But it is not made for anyone that has any problems with mobility, as to get in and out of the RV the steps are a little high. Also, the bed is high, not sure if it’s really a queen size bed, if you are taller than 6 foot your head and your feet will touch the walls and if two people are sleeping in there the one person is next to the wall and has to crawl over the other person in order to get out of bed.The twin beds are made for children. They are cubbyholes and not really twin beds, so if you have small children, this would be great.The bathroom has no sink in it so you have to use the sink in the small kitchen that they have which is not really made for cooking but you could heat up things.We basically were there only there to sleep, and after 10 o’clock the neighborhood is very quiet. We did not use the pool, as we would get back after dark.The RV is in the driveway in the front of their house. But that caused no problems.I would recommend this for a young couple, with possibly two small children, And probably only to sleep, as there’s not much room in there to move around.With that being said, everything was good and if we had any problems, it was taken care of. "
