"This place was so quiet and the space inside was way better than any hotel room especially when you’re traveling with children. The check in was super easy, you just grab the keys then for check out you can just turn them into a black mailbox on the way out."

"1 st night was upstairs was nice and peaceful quite moved downstairs 2 nd day room 16 was very noisy from water coming down drain pipes could here the showers air conditioning was really cold was good"
"Overall quite a good experience and would definitely go back. Weather was unfortunately not cooperating as it was torrential downpours the first day of a two day visit, and the next was scorching hot. Was hoping for a more memorable exp for my two year old birthday weekend, but that's no fault if the place, just the circumstances. Cell reception is ehh, and wifi kept going in and out, which didn't bother us too much except for the times we were stuck inside. Otherwise lots of things to do in the grounds. Will try and go back in the fall when the weather is nicer."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fredericksburg South (I-95), VA
2/10 Terrible
"I wouldn’t even recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Me and my family were completely disgusted and disappointed. This was false advertisement and I’m shocked at any positive reviews. We should’ve known what to expect once we approached the front door of the hotel. Trash was overflowing, the welcome mats were filthy, the floors in the lobby were dirty, and it smelled of mildew and must. As we walked to our hotel room the carpet in the hallways were so dirty and filled with stains. Only one elevator was working at the time and my first thought prior to entering the room is the cleanliness of this hotel was comparable to a nasty gas station bathroom. When we got into the room the smell was worst. One of the beds in the room was broken and one side was almost touching the floor. We noticed the mattress had a large stain of what appeared to be old blood on it. We had to wait for towels and washcloths when we asked for more because they didn’t have any clean ones. When we asked to be placed in another room we were told there weren’t any more available. I ended up sleeping fully clothed on the bed with my personal beach towel laid down as a barrier between me and the blanket on top of the bed. Even the pool was disturbing. The water was cloudy and there were brown stains all on the stairs going into the pool. When we reported our stay to customer service, they shared that the hotel staff said they offered us a new room but we declined which was false. Please go somewhere else."
"Parking area was large, Breakfast was great. Only stayed 1 night wasnt able to use pool or other amenities but I will use this hotel again in the future"
"The hotel was spotless, the room was very comfortable and clean. The morning breakfast options was good. There is a mini market within the hotel with a variety of options. It is well located off major highways. I would like to acknowledge one employee, Rebecca Stephen’s for her professionalism, cheerfulness and helpful suggestions on things to do while at the hotel."
"Very beautiful property!! The restaurant and activities next door are an awesome bonus. Room and building was clean, unfortunately it did seem like the walls were rather thin and if you had children near by you could definitely hear them. Additionally, staff tried to enter the room to clean twice before we had checked out of the room, and the internet/wifi/tv had major issues making it very hard to watch anything without constant buffering and interruption. Overall a really nice space, would stay here again"
